Anybody around here used it before? It's basically a video-sharing website and has the old youtube theme from 2006 to 2012. I heard many vidme users moved on to this one because of the name and the nostalgic feels.
Yeah, there's now an admin trying to censor people and thinks he's hard. His name is AliTheZombie13. He's been banning people over no reason over some stupid opinion. Even if you argue with him he has the balls to say that he wins when his arguments are absolutely stupid. I'm sure someone else could describe it much better than I can but I'm not kidding he's favouring creators and banning those who disagree with him. If you check the VidLii ED page you'd know what I mean.
It's a website with the most autistic admin ever
this admin will ban anyone who disagrees with him, gives criticism to him about the website or in my case, makes a satirical video basically mocking him and his blatant stupidity
he will call any of the past users "toxic" and claims that the site was better without the past members
He has also claimed that he is only moderating VidLii in order to get some money
HYPOTHETICAL TALK HERE, SOZ
If this admin had a legitimate business company and fired somebody just because he didn't like them or the disagreed with him, he would be chastised for the rest of his life, just like he's being chastised right now.
btw sorry for being a newfag reatrd but I also don't give a flying fuck on what you think I am.
Yeah there's now a faggot running the site under the name "KingFatty". He thinks poop is funny by saying "I pooped on allanbuzzy's poopillo" and is trying to make the site look terrible and make the good content creators leave (even though they've not done anything wrong). My channel was vandalised by Fattyman and I don't think VidLii's going to last, there's a crowd of people trying to raid it with big YouTube names so that VidLii would kill itself with massive overloads. Only time will tell if VidLii will survive.
The biggest problem facing sites like this is that YouTube has such a gigantic market share that the only way they can hope to get any traffic is to market themselves as an alternative version of YouTube. This strategy invariably fails, however, because they don't have the massive library of content that YouTube has, nor the many years head start it took YouTube to establish their brand and accumulate hundreds of millions of viewers. They are literally starting from square one, and YouTube has a near-insurmountable advantage.
I'm very late. But from what I've learned and seen, the site had a lot of potential, but it was destroyed by a toxic community and had a living meme that served as Moderator. The guy who founded it (Jan) is now focusing on a New site called vlare.tv, and it looks promising as well, but I'll keep my expectations low.
