Cunt is a common word in the UK and Australia; it's only in America that it's seen as much harsher than the other words. And bans don't just come about from one report, especially not for someone as established as Vinny - even if he DID get reported, there's no way he'd get enough of them to get permabanned for it. Twitch cares much more about avoiding nudity and sexual stuff than monitoring the usage of slurs on their platform.

Might honestly be for the best. Last year's was boring as fuck - even Vinny had a hard time making it entertaining. This year they've invited Brie Larson as a presenter because...she plays Animal Crossing casually? Stephen A. Smith (sportball talk show host) is also there for some reason, along with other celebrities like Gal Gadot and John David Washington. So I'm guessing we're in for a fair amount of boring nonsense with some pro-BLM, pro-gurl-gamer nonsense mixed in. And I'd be shocked if TLOU2 doesn't end up walking away with GoTY for it's """groundbreaking story and diverse characters""". I think the only reason it would be fun to see the boys stream it is that the chat would be an absolute trainwreck (and let's face it - most of us love a good trainwreck). Otherwise, it's best they react to the Smash announcement after the fact.
It's a bummer that TGA went South so fast. There was always some cringe (see Sonicfox 2 years ago), but when it started out it was at least kinda fun to watch in the same sense E3 is: the cringe was at least fun and the announcements were sometimes worthwhile. Dorito Pope doesn't do a bad job as the host either. Now it seems to be your typical, mainstream celebrity-filled Hollywood awards spectacular. Shame.

Vinny just had to bring up the closure of indoor dining in NYC and COVID in the middle of his Final Fantasy VI stream, and wouldn't you know it that he is 100% a paranoid motherfucker about it. Worse yet, vast majority of his chat agreed and began mocking the COVID-questioning types in typical fashion. Nice reminder of why I think Governor Cuomo belongs in a SuperMax yet the utter ignorance of chat made me actually close his stream, which is something I rarely ever do.

Has anyone here archived vinnys stream of sit and spin adventure 2?
Granted he did loose a family member to it, so being paranoid about it its not un-justified.
It did seem out of the fucking blue that he brought that topic without prompt (perhaps a chat message triggered the response?) when he's been repeating the mantra of how streaming serves as an escape from all that and yadda yadda, but i guess when you live in nightmare scenario New York sooner or later even the most resilient crack.
Vinny's constant yapping about the DMCA stuff & his twitch ban as of late really makes me think if him and Joel are thinking of just switching streaming platforms anytime soon. I would honestly welcome it, as I personally hate twitch as a company with every fibre of my being, although YouTube isn't much better anyway, so what choices do they really have?
Dlive is the only streaming service I can think of that hasn't been shoah'd. Bitchute is apparently working on setting up streaming, but no eta. There are a couple other weird sites like bitwave TV but I don't think they'd be a good fit for vinesauce.
