been lurking a while, made an account just to post this.

i honestly think mandy is a literal autist. His monotone voice, obsession over tiny details and being a confirmed /v/ and /tg/ user should be proof enough.

i also think he has very few actual friends (probably only 1 or 2 irl) and the combo of these two things make it possible he was basically peer pressured into it. The instant backtrack after getting shit on leads me to think he is deathly scared of losing respect of his fans and peers.

The lesson to be learned here is don't fuck your fans. There's nothing morally wrong with it if they're consenting adults but there will always be that one that wants their 15 minutes of fame and will find a way to use it against you later. The pool of potential partners becomes smaller, sure, but there's way less room for it to bite you in the ass later.

Granted this is with the power of hindsight, Vinny rose up a little after the genesis of internet e-celebs back when it was picking up steam and branching out of youtube and private forums where a bunch of socially maladjusted teens suddenly started getting actual fans that wanted to fuck them because they said peepee poopoo on the internet.
I'm not saying Vin is not an idiot for not foreseeing this but i can understand why he would fuck up this badly since its hard to know the do's and don't of a field that was almost exclusively available to big name bands and hollywood

It's one of the sources of discussion that's definitely kept me invested. The well of Twitter is dry to me at the moment. What really attracted me here was the immense feeling of "Vinny is not in the wrong" in this thread, and I knew barely little of Kiwi Farms in the past, if only by fleeting glimpses at a name.

Tame also known as Bran streamed on Vinesauce back in 2010-2012. His pc broke and he asked for donations to fix it or get a new one. Some other streamers didn't like that he was asking for money. While this was happening it also came out that he was lying about his age claiming to be 19-20 but was actually 15. He eventually returned the money he received but the damage was already done and he was removed.

Yeah same here, I'm actually surprised that besides maybe glance at KF last year about the whole onion boy saga, I'd never even heard of it in my 25+ years of internetting - seems like an actual proper discussion board for both sides of everything, granted I've ONLY been in this thread, so I have no idea what the rest of the site is like lol

Did he even write that one? I thought he and a couple members of the band wrote their music together. And on top of that, I don't think it's entirely honest to consider a joke to be reflective of the joke teller's life style or beliefs.
