In the previous century, she waitressed for a little while in NYC. She was wildly confrontational and had meltdowns that ended with "I had to leave." She blamed one flameout on a head injury from a car accident, but the same thing had happened in Philly when she tried waitressing there while still living with her parents.

By 2005, she had left NYC after being unable to earn any kind of a living, getting no paying gigs, and even getting banned from some clubs' open mic nights. Her "job" had become selling essential oils online, which she did as badly as selling her music online.

She gets as incredibly fixated on conspicuous consumption as she does on her vendetta. Only a Cannon brand camera like Freelee and her cousin have will get that painting sold for $8 million dollars!

I wonder how urgent the move-out is. She's seemingly given up on ever attempting to pay her back rent. The covid eviction moratorium ends August 31st, and Marissa could easily argue that her job as an uber driver was affected during the pandemic. Not sure of she has the wherewithal to handle the paperwork, but that would be my guess as to when this situation gets seriously uncomfortable for her.

It's Syd Appreciation Day again. In the spoiler is her 12-minute video, which stops mid-sentence, slamming inferior members of the band, esp. Roger Waters (who has no interest in Fukushima or nature and doesn't support Durnford though maybe no one should). They had beauty in the band, but Waters ruined it. Syd, the Adonis genius, was thrown out.

Highlights: She pronounces "Sisyphus" as "syphilis," laughs and says "sigh-full-is." She pronounces "Cymbeline" as "sym-buh-lyne" rather than "sym-buh-leen."

The video has drawn comments from a YouTube user, "ChoosyHereticsChoose CarnationRevolutionNow," who has outraged her by bringing up "how being against Israel is cool." On Reddit, the video's drawn comments(!) in support of early Floyd and against her bogus factoids about Syd being fired. No one seems to have taken in her comments about Syd possibly corresponding with her in the here and now.

The user ChoosyHeretics Choose CarnationRevolutionNow has 135 subscribers and began the channel in 2016 by posting guitar covers and moved on to posting about chemtrails appearing on weather maps. He's one of those guys who suspends his guitar from the ceiling. I'm wondering if this is the paper troll.

So the paper troll may be active again - or, as she often does, she's making past events sound current. She says someone claiming to be Barrett "just wrote me the other day," "sent me some artwork," and "wrote me sort of a romantic letter the other day." He's claiming he has a lot of money in the bank and may be one of the people sending her donations. "It may not be him, just somebody who really loves him."

Meanwhile, it's been pointed out to me that she can fix the sad colors in her pix just with the photo editing app included on all of her Apple devices.

Update: She's sprayed the first gloss coat on the painting. She wore a mask and kept the windows open. Two more coats to come. "It's fun."
