So I've heard about this "support" group for people who are sexually attracted to children but vow to not act on their urges, sometimes in multiple threads here. There is so much pedo defending going on with them. Their forums seem to be hidden to users or taken down, but you can see remnants of them power leveling their sick fetishes by googling "virped forums" .

Most of these fuckers are NAMBLA supporters, however they are part of the really vocal group steaming form the old internet and are really easy to hunt.

Saying that you "like children in a sexual manner" is the worst fucking thing you could power level. You could seriously win more friends looking for people who are White Supremacists, who think all cis people should die, who think they are furries or bronies or laptopkin or any of that stupid shit.

Any perceived potential danger to children overrides doctor-patient confidentiality. In the absence of mental health services designed to keep minor-attracted persons from offending, they've turned to each other for moral support.

Germany, which has no mandatory reporting laws, has these types of services available in actual medical facilities. Maybe the US could use something similar. Is it better to give pedos who don't want to hurt kids a way to get rid of their desires or drive them deeper into communities such as dark web boards that encourage abuse?

I tried really hard to post something different from "herp derp let's hang all them pedos" in this thread yesterday but the resulting post was either weak, creepy apologist nonsense or came across as playing devil's advocate.

Yeah, there's a difference between creepy motherfuckers who are atttracted to socially unnaceptable things (simulated rape, children) and extremely fucking creepy motherfuckers who act on those wishes with no regard for the wellbeing of others.

I think the best thing a pedophile can do is to just avoid sexuality altogether and do something productive with their life. Going on to a website reinforcing your fantasies with other pedophiles is antithetical to this. Only when you are a positive force in society could even start considering applying the word virtuous to oneself.
