Howdy, first time poster and long time lurker. Generic post, etc, etc.
If I'm posting a thread in the wrong section, which wouldn't surprise me since I haven't posted in actual forums in a long time, I'm really sorry.
My name is (redacted) and I write for fun in my freetime. Posting online on the rare occasion, but mostly keeping my research on my computer or in a journal for fun. The only things I really post publicly are really weird and not at all something anyone on this site would be interested in this. This sure looks unnecessary, but it's a preface to the next issue.
I'm looking to write a piece about Christian Weston Chandler, or more importantly the culture that surrounded him at the time and what came after. I know the basics, anyone with internet access and a want can go through the entirety of his history online. But, I want to sift through the real meat and nitty gritty. Considering that's it been more than ten years since this all exploded and has changed inherently how the internet is shaped today.
What I'm looking to do is mass interview individuals, specifically involved with the early days of CWC, over what happened. It'd be equal parts questions/discussion over the events as it would be about the personal effects of such.
That being said, it's unlikely anything from this would be made public. It's a passion project. I'm simply asking for people who are willing to do a favor for a stranger, and maybe have fun while doing it? (Probably not.)
More exposition, this probably warranted being put in the off-topic/general discussion because it's not really about Chris Chan, or of any importance to anyone. And I'm very much an overly polite and empathetic weirdo who wants to talk about it which isn't at all cool, especially not on poke-fun-at-folks the site. And And could only hope to compensate anyone in an extremely good pancake recipe.
TLDR: pussy wants to record your conversations about an internet man the same way the nsa records their cuck-ish calls to sexy hotlines
(i'm really sorry and i know this is very silly and stupid)
