I think tastes have changed over time. Picking on retards for being retarded isn’t really all that funny anymore. Especially as the internet has expanded and we’re exposed to more mentally underdeveloped people who happen to have internet access.

Don't really agree there, for me it basically comes down to smug and delusional narcissists getting their comeuppance one way or another, being autistic or not doesn't really matter but the narcissism part does.
Also I wouldn't be suprised if Dobson turned out to be autistic given his behaviour and interests.
Agree with the part about picking on special needs people just because they're special needs being dumb but I don't think that's what at least this forum has done (As well as most of the internet really), like there's a big difference between someone like Ulillillia and Chris-chan, despite some superficial similarities I've never seen anyone trolling Ulillillia.

True but fundamentally he seems like a nice, humble person who tries his best, for example compared to Chris he tried to make his dream game while Chris’s ego is so huge he fell for the Shigeru Miyamoto troll and still thinks so highly of himself that he doesn’t think it’s odd someone would write a book comparing him to Andy Warhol.
Uli hasn’t done anything wrong, he owns up to all of his issues, and he does put in work for stuff he wants done. Chris is a basket case compared to Uli. I remember the time I talked to Uli when I was still an immature late teen and he was actually really nice to me. Chris can be nice. But it’s always for something self serving. It’s carrot and stick, you don’t get Chris to be your friend unless you have something he wants or he is a big fan of you. Uli actually did want friends for a long time.

The whole "shovel mech" thing was just baffling. You'd think that a hillbilly like Chris living in a semi-rural area like Ruckersville would have at least had neighbors who have burned leaves and other yard debris before, and would know what a controlled burn looks like. Barb at the very least should have known what the guy was doing, given that she's in her eighties and lived through a time when burning your yard trash was a common place thing, and could have told Chris to stop getting his panties in a twist over a nothing burger. And then calling the machine a "Shovel Mech" in the first place. The phrase conjures up something from BattleTech crossed with Devestator from Transformers.
I'm sure this won't go to his big dumb head at all. On the plus side, maybe this will inspire him to draw some new pages.
