No, because Trump wasn’t worth storming the capitol over. He welshed on almost every promise he made to these people in 2016 and threw them under the bus because he wanted his Twitter back. Don’t stick your neck out for somebody who has proven time and time again he won’t return the favor.

I have to agree with you on this one.

When your plan of action is so retarded that an edgelord wannabe redneck LARP'er like @Terrorist is calling it out for being stupid and counter-productive, you know it's a really bad idea.

The Capitol rioters were morons who dug their own graves and also damned us all, figuratively speaking.

Yup but too little and too late. Should have happened earlier when they legalized baby killing because of "muh vjayjay" or when homos were allowed to be married because of "muh rights" not because one Liberal got replaced by a another. Though nice to see the right grow a pair and do something after 100 years of cuckoldry.

One of the tenets of Guerilla warfare is agitate the opposition into over reacting. The more the opposition over reacts the more the populace agrees with the guerillas. The second reason is over reacting creates paralysis. The third reason is get the opposition to burn through resources needed to sustain operations.

There are two ways to counter an insurgency.
Win over the populace. In rices book "wars of the third kind" he uses an example of a member of the spainish nobility pushing reforms favoring peasants. The political violence stopped. We aint getting those reforms. Biden and plutocrats made it very clear they want it their way and fuck everyone else. So they are not going for the winning hearts and minds approach.

The second way to stop a guerilla force is complete annihilation. Kill every member of the populace.

That might be tricky for the plutocrats depending on how they go about it. Yet as stated they certainly are not goinf the win hearts and minds approach. So im going guess its this route the plutocrats want.

Holy fuck this is bad

It’s going to be weird to take that event and unleash the PATRIOT Act II. Much like how the Second Iraq War soured people on Endless Wars 4 Israel, going too far overboard on this is going to piss a lot more people off than anticipated, more than just magapedes. The media is going to howl and ululate for more wypipo to get nailed to the cross but the Feds dragging off some old white lady at an airport looks awful to everyone except the far left. While the modern day elite hate squandering a crisis, most people really didn’t care.

The storming of the capitol was the right thing to do. Since the ballot box is done, people are going to address their grievances in other ways. Cowering from the left isn’t a solution nor is talking about ouroboroses. Every action they take delegitimizes them. Them trying to turn 70 to 200 million people into terrorists is so insane they lose legitimacy. The left did more damage to themselves since the 6th. Many big brained centrists hoped Biden’s time in office was just going to allow them to go back to grilling. Nope, everything is political now and you no longer have the choice of fence sitting. The left assumed the majority will be with them.

The left assumed the majority will be with them.

Problem is that the majority is still largely with them, courtesy of the old Religious Right shitting the bed as bad as they did in the 80's and 90's. They've been gone for nearly a decade and their actions and stances have still fucked over any non-leftist mindset via guilt by association.

Sad part is that you have all these smug edgelord /pol/ tards who go on about "hurr durr what r we conserving?" and sperg endlessly about "muh degeneracy" ary to bring back a pathetic Zoomer retread of the old fundies that nobody wants (not even the literal Neo-Nazis) because "the Right doesn't conserve anything!"

The Religious Right seems toothless to Zoomer rightists mainly due to the fact they were more regionalized and didn't have the useful tool of social media on their side.

If you're a Zoomer or a Millennial who was lucky to grow up in one of the blue states, the fundies just seemed like pathetic blowhard geezers who tried to ban D&D and rock music, sperged about vidya and Harry Potter, and failed at everything. But that's because most of their power was decentralized.

Appalachia was a de facto regional Protestant theocracy in the 90's and the West Memphis Three getting horribly wronged by the Bible thumping rednecks is one of the few examples that got any real MSM traction.

Social conservatism is precisely why the Woke Left was able to both grow in such large numbers and why the neoliberal corporatists side with them and believe it to be good PR in doing so.

And for all the Yahwehist wignats who'll no doubt give me angry internet stickers, just remember that Grandpa Julian warned us just as much as Uncle Yuri did.

Christianity is a dead end. It even says what will eventually happen. Right in revelations. So all of Christiandom has been shaping reality via rite and prayer for the end times to come. One major sign is well the end of the faith before the anti christ comes to power.

What Im saying you are not going to regain ground with something destined to erase itself in the first place.

The second thing is 21st conservitive ideology is going to morph into nothing more then an impulse to go kamikaze scorched earth. Destroy until those who threaten them cant do so any more.

The conservative of this decade wont be a preacher but more like beavis on a caffeine trip screaming about fire and trying to destroy everything he touches.

Thats bad bad bad.

If the Democratic elite truly does feel that the majority is on their side, then they are both foolish and arrogant. Otherwise, why would they have had to resort to such desperate measures, and why was there such a massive public reaction on top of that? Since when has a mass riot at the Capitol and the mobilization of thousands of National Guard in several locations in advance ever normal, let alone the signs of a regime that is fully confident?

What did BLM/Antifa lose?

Significant support amongst the normies that got their neighbourhoods invaded for zero reason, their box-store stripmalls turned into burned out shells, their safety threatened by raging retards surrounding their vehicles, and a lot of companies that could afford to rebuild are questioning the value of it. Whether that translates into anything more than paralysis and fear at this point remains to be seen.

Was a demonstration at the Capitol warranted? Yes.
Was the demonstration that occurred suborned and co-opted by glowniggers? Definitely.
Was the demonstration that occurred retarded and ultimately such a counterproductive exercise that it will cause a Patriot Act 2: Fuck your Constitutional Rights Boogaloo? Absolutely, 100%, it will.

The "insurrection" apparently started prior to Trump completing the speech that was used as grounds for the Articles of Impeachment; he was still speaking at 12:17pm, when people began leaving the rally, and at that point, there was already a crowd gathered at the barricades at the Capitol Building. There's also claims being made based on FBI investigation that the breach of the Capitol Building was planned for weeks prior, which really makes those Articles of Impeachment look like an attempt to absolutely crush the legacy of the first outsider since Roosevelt, especially with how fast Mitch "Turtle Club for Men" McConnell agreed to proceedings. Add to those the video that allegedly shows John Sullivan (known for having protested to the tune of "Burn it all down!" in D.C. immediately before the election, as well as being arrested at a Utah BLM rally) trying to whip up the people at the barricades, then being in the front mass of the crowd as the barricades were opened, and shit looks even more suspicious, if you're not a rabid "Orange Man Always Bad, Same as 1,000 MegaHitlers" type.

I don't know if that suspicion is warranted, but Denmark, rotten, etc. Ducks, quack, you get the picture.

And calling a bunch of people that largely stayed inside the velvet ropes, spent most of their time taking selfies (or streaming their idiocy, and/or posing for photos for media and social media), and that did relatively little damage (beyond broken windows, a couple kicked in doors, some litter, petty left, and the hilarious poop of the desk, although less hilariously smeared in the hallway) anything like "domestic terrorists" and "insurrectionists" is asinine, when BLM caused upwards of $1 billion in damages, and gets called "mostly peaceful" is the height of NewSpeak.

It was stupid. The whole thing glows worse than OP, and is at least as gay.

The useful idiots that participated should all be investigated, charged if necessary, tried, and be punished in a manner fitting their crimes, as opposed to blanket-smeared as "domestic terrorists" and shoveled wholesale into prisons. The same can and must be said for all the useful idiots that destroyed huge swaths of the flyover states in the name BLM, because of violent criminal niggers. Those useful idiots destroyed neighbourhoods and businesses in flyover states have been shit on by the neocon/neolib uniparty agenda for 40-plus years, and watched their jobs go offshore.

Worse, some of the big chains have made statements about not rebuilding in locations that have been burned and looted, so now you've got people watching the companies that broke the backs of a lot of Mom & Pop businesses pulling the few remaining jobs out of communities that have already watched their jobs be offshored. All that does is force people to either drive themselves to wherever the nearest box store is, or order through Amazon, which has cornered the market on "Cheap shit made in countries with negligible labour and environment protection" and "Malicious business practices that make WalMart squeezing out small businesses look positively."

The truly sick part of that is that it adds another layer of shit to the sandwich for the average person that's going to be forced to shop online, because when Biden moves forward with his re-entry of the Paris Accord, the inevitable carbon taxes will raise prices on goods used in the USA that were made by manufacturing moved to China (and similar countries) that aren't going to do a single thing to "protect the environment".

That's something important to remember - a lot of America has watched a coterie of elites that all come from a certain set of carefully curated and groomed environments, that have largely enjoyed uninterrupted careers in office, do nothing but pass legislation that offshored a lot of jobs, and have ensured the slow (and now accelerating) withering of the American middle class. There's a lot of people that have started to cotton on to how little politicians care about anything more than maintaining their spot at the pork barrel, and how badly fucked over those politicians have left a lot of the country. Then the average slob is going to be forced to spend time and money going further to get to the nearest box store because the local one wasn't rebuilt, or paying carbon taxes on 11th-rate products that are carbon-taxed, despite being from shitholes that don't care about their carbon output.

The problem is that if the uniparty decided that it was going to fuck Trump, and devastate his legacy as a warning to anyone else stupid enough to try and enter the ring from outside the carefully maintained ecosystem (a swamp, if you will), it absolutely had the means to do so, had the motive to do it, and it wouldn't even need to be subtle about it, because there's essentially fuck all that the populace can do, unless they all have the same epiphany at the same time, across the entirety of the population from the suburbs, to the barrios, to the hood, to the trailer parks, to the armed forces bases.

They especially need the military to join a general strike, too. Otherwise, they're going to get even more stomped on. Note that I'm not suggested wide-scale insurrection or rebellion, but as other people have pointed out, unless the bulk of the peons go on strike, there's no other hammer big enough to make the government sit up and pay attention. As was also pointed out, unions won't support this kind of shit, because they've bought into the uniparty, if you know anything about the incestuous relationship between civic/state gov'ts and the unions that convinced them to make public works contracts unionized, so that union dues could be funnelled into technically legal campaign donations. It's sort of like what the Clinton Foundation perfected.

TLDR - Nothing short of a universal strike by every Tom, Jamal, Gurpinder, Jose, and Pawel is going to change an iota of the overwhelmingly corrupt system, and it needs to be focused on things that matter, like waste collection, trucking, energy sector industries, infrastructure maintenance, and supported by a general strike by a significant majority of the enlisted in the armed forces. The second you fuck with the comfort of the lifelong bureaucrats and the political elite in ways they can't work around, you have a 50/50 chance of getting somewhere, although that somewhere might be smeared under the chassis of an APV. If you can manage to fuck with their carefully ordered lives AND can ensure that the mechanisms of force they wield can't be directed at you, you actually may stand a chance of some concrete change, although it comes with the possibility of future retaliation.

I await my puzzle pieces, tophats, garbage cans, and similar. Also consider reposting this image as a response -

Julian? You mean that nerd who tried to bring paganism back to the Roman Empire but only managed to make an anti-Christianity that was quickly discarded?

As for the rest of your commentary, its reasoning suffers because you refuse to allow the liberal ideologies implicated in the "woke left", overtly malignant or otherwise, to take responsibility for what flowed downstream from them because of what those ideologies are and are capable of becoming. It's the fault of those dang theocratic conservatives that their children backlashed so hard that they came to celebrate feticide, broken homes, self-mutilation in the name of an ironic internalized misogyny, weak men, and a pipeline from preschool to porn... is what you're saying. Except that the sexual revolution, second wave feminism, John Money, Alfred Kinsey, and their intellectual bedfellows/descendants were all most prominently mid-to-late 20th century things. Concurrent with the scourge of the religious right-- hell, its formation was in response to the above.

The only way your theory works is if the ideologies of the "woke left", and their leaven, were purely reactionary and without inherent foundation. The truth of the matter, however, is that they are complete ideas with a long and continuous history that happen to stand in opposition to those of the religious right and require the overthrowing of said religious right, as well as "the right" overall.

Not at all.

Christianity does teach of a eschatological perfection of creation, but that isn't meant as a license to not care about your societies or the world you inhabit, and it certainly doesn't mean that it was self-destined for erasure.

How could that be? After all, Christianity is a religion that mandates proselytizing. Christians wouldn't engage in social reform (up to, but not limited to the takeover of an entire empire) if the faith was self-destined for erasure. And the signs of the end-times-- which, during the first century, was thought by many to occur within the lifetimes-- didn't include the erasure of the faith. In terms of salvation doctrine, that's a complete withdrawal of God's perfected salvation.

I did post a long rant but we've had this argument many times and I figured I should spare us my autistic emotional ramblings and edited my post accordingly.

You're a social conservative traditionalist and I'm pretty much a politically homeless maltheist.

You know my stances and I know yours. We're just not going to see eye to eye on this one and will have to agree to disagree here. Not much either one of us can do to fix the situation at hand anyway.

All we can do is buckle up and do our best to survive this shitty decade as best we can

Showing the country how cowardly our representatives are when confronted by their own citizens was a huge moment. People should not fear their governments, governments should fear their people after all. Also, showing just how easy it is to do something like that when you have the right amount of people in the right situation is an eye opening moment for not only the entire Federal Government but the nation as a whole.

However, I wish it was brought about by something a bit more substantial than the election, especially as of the 6th. Fraud or not, it doesn't matter, it was too late, the results were pretty much guaranteed to get certified. A positive of this though is that this should make both parties think twice if they ever want to do anything that disenfranchises people's vote.

Congress does not deserve your pity and fucking with power structures that want us to shut up and pay our taxes is the most American thing you can do.

The media, MAGA, the Democrats, Congress, the Republicans, BLM, China, social media. In that order.
The answer is to pray to our lord and savior The Yellowstone caldera and his messenger "Giant metor" to cleanse the sins of the land and lets us start anew.

Amen

I have a question for those who said "violence is not the answer" regarding this incident on the Capitol. When does violence become the answer? I am old enough to remember being taught how the United States came to be and it wasn't just some guys in colonial clothes wrote their names on a piece of paper and a new nation was born. I am old enough to remember being taught the eventual abolition of slavery in the US included an incident at Harper's Ferry. While MLK is recognized for his peaceful demonstrations during the Civil Rights Movement, it seems prominent black voices have shifted towards Malcolm X's "by any means necessary" approach in recent years. We all saw how businesses submitted to the mob last year where some wrote they supported BLM to avoid destruction.

I get taking the high ground and being a nation of laws. But it appears to me that civility has been thrown out the window for about a decade and tensions in this country are reaching a boiling point.

Im going to whip out my list of options (both violent and non violent) for those who disagree with current events:

First option:
Do nothing.
This is your most likely option. Yes you just got pimped but what are pimps good for? Lying and stealing. That what the current crop of leaders are good for. They cant govern nor manage jack shit. They steal funds from things like infrastructure maintaince.

They have ruined the very system they depend on for power and its not going to last. Their greed did them in.

Without infrastructure they cant keep power nor project it.

There also resource depletion (such as oil) and environmental changes that going bonk everyone plans.

There also tech debt and decay

So your goal with this option is try and outlast the bullshit.

Option 2:
Pray to god or magic:
Yes this might not exist. It might exist.
Pray this whole tower of Babel comes crashing down. But If you do get some thing answering back after you pray or do a spell....

Option 3: non complaince or malicious compliance. This might be an option if they dont plan on rounding up people soon.

Option 4:
Civil disobedience.

Various methods include (but not limited to):
Labor strike and mass boycott.
Stop working and stop buying stuff.
Dont pay your bills.
Another method of civil disobedience is commit a crime and get incarcerated.
By doing this you will eat up the states resources while you serve your sentence.

Option 5:
sabotage
Any active resistance is most likely going to go this route.

Resorting to crime falls under this option

Option 6:
Blaze of glory
Not recommended unless theyre rounding people up and coming for you. The dead man walking option.

Option 7: leave for a third world country.

Option 8:
The Nag Hammadi method.

For those who dont know Nag Hammad is a collection of early Christian works considered heretical by the church. What the writers did was stash their works in a sealed jar in hopes of inspiring future generations of their beliefs.

What you can do is start creating buried caches of current culture. Like math, philosophy, literature ect.
This is acknowledging this current era is fucked but you maybe can influence a later era.

Option 9:
Turn traitor or seek out help from americas enemies. Iran. Al Qaeda. Russia. Find nations who would benefit from Americas collapse and work with them.

Option 10: commit suicide.

Pick an option and act on it. Be ready to accept the conquences of your decision. Embrace the fact no matter what you do the outcome isnt going be pleasant.

Im going with the prayer option. Reply to this post saying you want in if interested. Or give me a dm.
