Was Teen Titans, GO! the best comic book adaptation of all time? -

That other show was too serious. People died in it! What the heck?!? This interpretation was far superior. It shows the tone of comic books better, which is to be fun and goofy and with songs about tacos being better than hotdogs! Every show should be like this one.

Teen Titans Go is unironically a better show than Teen Titans. Teen Titans was a overrated, schizophrenic anime ripoff that had no idea whether it was a serious teen drama or a LOLRANDUM comedy. Only about 10% of the episodes were actually good and the other 90% have been filtered out by nostalgia glasses. Teen Titans Go, despite being more juvenile, knows it's a wacky sitcom and never pretends to be anything else. It is an objectively better show for it.

My kids love Teen Titans Go and when I watch it with them it makes me chuckle fairly often. The movie was actually a lot of fun too.

It's not as wholesome as Bluey or educational at all. But I greatly prefer it to Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig and it's almost as funny as Gumball. My oldest is beginning to move away from Teen Titans and has begun watching a ton of old GI Joe on Tubi, which I approve of as a father of boys

As a neutral observer with no prior interest in either series, it seems so obvious that TTG is a fine show, superior to TT:TOS in almost every way. Yet you point out this fact to spergs, and they get mad at you.

Perhaps if I was an edgy 12 year old, just starting to get interested in what, at the time, I would consider to be "serious drama", then I might prefer Teen Titans TOS over GO. But everyone else - particularly little kids and parents - will likely get more out of TT:G.

I'm not so sure. I had #3 where it fleshed out Thunder and Lightning's fight and the retread of "Blackfire's Arrival" from a Salvation Army but promptly donated it within a year.

The original show was fine whenever Mad Mod appeared, but "Trouble in Tokyo" even then was forgettable.

Oh that was my least favorite episode since Doctor Light was such a good guy originally and Cat!Starfire meowing made me cringe.

With the show runners teasing Slade, my dumbass assumed "Waffle Song" would've been the last episode.
