We need to talk about conversion therapy: I wanna become heterosexual and normal. -

A mental exercise in what? Doublethink?

All of the landmark achievements were just "the fringe left" and "corporate media". It beggars belief.

Fred Sargeant chose to stand up and defend the maffia run stonewall that had underage prostitution for his cause.

Yes, maybe their problem is that they care too much about "being fabulous" as you say and not enough about "kids not being raped".

The reason why I mentioned Fred Sargeant is because he's against trans-kid and transsexuals overtaking the LGBT community. The reason why I dismiss Eve Ensler and Simone de Beauvoir, because I don't care about queer theory and feminism in that way. The only people I know that take it seriously are purple hair losers. Also most gay bars in the United States during the 1950s were run by the mafia. It was illegal to sell alcohol to a group of homosexuals. The mafia or the bar owner paid the police to look the other way. And most gay bars during that period weren't respectable, because it drew "low life" clientele.
Also, most of the kids there were rebellious teenage runways. Not that condone having sex with children under the age of 19.

And finally your assertion that they had no desire to overturn social order is unbelievable and in any case unrespectable; if it was not their intention, they failed hard. But in any case how one can thing to make significant social changes without overturning order is delusional.

How one changes laws and institution of marriage without any politics is beyond me.

You're acting like the social order and the LGBT movement was black and white. It was made up of a bunch of different actors. For one thing, the laws against homosexuality were rarely enforced and most of the time the police were paid off. Second of all, you underestimate the power of subcultures. money, and social class. You don't have to play politics if you can build a parellel subculture. But that's a different story for another thread.

Here is a nice passage

It seems that many Negro homosexuals, acquiescing in this racial death-wish, are outraged and frustrated because in their sickness they are unable to have a baby by a white man. The cross they bear is that, already bending over and touching their toes for the white man, the fruit of their miscegenation is not the little half-white offspring of their dreams but an increase in the unwinding of their nerves – though they redouble their efforts and intake of the white man's sperm. (p. 102).

That wasn't in the book. That passage comes from a Eldridge Cleaver's Soul on Ice. Not the novel.
