Perhaps it's the entrepreneur in me, but does anyone else see Chris wasting an opportunity to make additional income via an ad-supported website where he just spouts off his drivel to his "fans"?

If Chris had an "official Sonichu site" or an "official CWC site" (a real one, not some Geoshitties accout), he could essentially make a supplementary living sitting on his ass doing nothing but whining how Mike Snyder ruined his life, parading his apparent victories over da trolls, and peddling his shitty yet strangely popular comic that's so low quality as to be lawsuit proof.

Ad money isn't easy to come by, and I think Chris has like a couple hundred dedicated followers tops, so it's not likely to get him his own place or even get him off the dole. But he's got more of an audience than you or I do. I kind of lament that he has an opportunity to make his own tugboat (the golden dream of web entrepreneurs) and is wasting it. Is he really so lazy to the point where he wouldn't want to make money doing basically nothing?

I'm pretty sure at one point during the height of his popularity there was a guy who offered him a job reviewing video games for a blog and he refused to do it.

An absurdly easy turn-key job is still VERY STRESSFUL HARD WORK and given a choice between doing that or nothing... well I think you see where this is going.

But that's what I don't get. I frequently tell people that the only reason I work so much is because I'm a lazy bastard. Sounds paradoxical, but it's just a clever way of telling people that there's work I like doing and work I don't. Working on websites where I build an idea and monetize it is fun; working a conventional eight-hour grind not so much. Businessmen and hardcore hobbyists do one with the anticipation that one day they won't need the other. Is the problem that the rest of us view work as necessary but he doesn't?

He'd probably just put Coca-Cola ads up without their permission again and get no money for it.

Yes.

In his mind, he shouldnet need to work. All that stress from the trolls means he should be free to do whatever the fuck he wants and get his duck licked for it.
