Everyone mentioning QC is correct. I've kept up with it in a kind of rubbernecking way since about 2012 but really enjoyed it before then (being young and stupid helped, probably). Jeph is/was actually a talented storyteller and developed his characters really well for the first half of its lifespan - I guess from a business standpoint it makes sense to keep everything under the QC umbrella but he took the comic in such a weird direction that it isn't even recognizable as what it started out as.

I shudder to think about how comics like the aforementioned and Jack wouldn't be given a second glance or ridiculed as much in the modern age, because people are super desensitized to this kind of shit.
IIRC the author of this is a demented furfag freak (no shit) with a hardcore rape fetish and would call his girlfriend, who was a teenaged fan of Jack (he was 30+) and tell her about how much he wanted to choke out and violently rape her with his small penis. He even masturbated loudly to her telling him her story about how she had been sexually abused as a child. She called into some dating advice radio show to have them reassure her that his rape fetish wasn't a problem.
Unfortunately that call and the callout blog it was posted on are now gone, because his girlfriend turned out to be just as demented as him, since now they're married.
He's a waifufag with a fragile ego who bases his understanding of social politics on how much he hates his fucking parents, much like many other gen-x webcomic writers. He somehow manages to out-douche Andrew Dobson.

Nads6969 is the author of the webcomic is a 38-year-old woman who acts like she is 12. She is a notorious art thief and her comic is full of traces and recolors of the characters. She gets upset and defensive when she is called out for her theft and insists that she doesn't trace or steal. She knows that she's stealing and tracing but wears it as a badge of honor because she believes people who don't give her asspats or a part of her hugbox are trolls and jealous of her talents. She claims to own a canon character from the actual series as well as claiming that everything in her gallery is original. The whole comic so far deals with rape, infidelity, incest, underage porn, and in later chapters beastility.
She's the female version of Chris-Chan. She has orbiters that give her praise and a few have given her money for her stolen works. Nads is hiding in plain sight and waiting for the trolls to forget about her so she can resume her recolors.

Those weird comics on deviantart with the hideous artstyle by that one author I can't remember. I think it's like some couple? like 2 people are involved in it somehow? I don't think they have a specific title. Anyways IIRC it's been posted a few times in the deviantart horrors thread a few years ago and I ended up somehow finding the person's account back then as well. It's mainly like just weird non-sequitir shit of their self inserts fucking inexpmicably turning into various like anime characters or whatever the fuck or weird mundane shit but the fucking art let me tell you the fucking ART has burned itself into my mind because of how weirdly shit it is. Screams "early 2000s western interpretation of anime" but it's blobby as fuck in a way that has a weird disgust inducing vibe. If I remember the fucking thing or manage to find it again I'm sending it here. Sonichu's art is worse from a technical perspective but it's easily mistakable for goofy kid scribblings. The thing I'm talking about though? it's just like another level of shit entirely.
-Hussie hired a bunch of people years after homestuck ends to make "the epilogues" which aren't actually epilogues at all and clearly a pilot for some new homestuck sequel thing. Unlike the rest of the comic it's only got the text with no images. media, fan communities, and even the writers act like this is him "giving homestuck infinite potential and giving it to the fans" or whatever. Homestuck 2 drops sometime shortly after proving all of that a fucking lie.
-While the homestuck epilogues were sloppy due to the people hired to write them not being hussie but somewhat trying their best, homestuck 2 ended up squandering the potential and further doing the character assasination shit that appeared once or twice in the epilogues.
-Writers kept telling fans about shit hussie supposedly was saying or telling them to do, only to reveal at one point during one of their fucking lectures when trying to own a fan that "hussie left the project a year ago"
-Had a patreon feature of "bonus updates" that were actually not bonus updates and instead just entire chunks of side-story plot from the regular updates resulting in shit becoming completely nonsensical in some instances if you didn't pirate or pay the patreon sub.
-Unrelated e-drama shit was used as an excuse to essentially stop updating
-Hussie FORCED them to include yiffy, a new character that's joke was she was named "Yiffany Longstockings Strider Lalonde" and the result of jade secretly fucking rose with her sprite-aquired dog dick that used to be solely a meme. Much like Homestuck 2's "bonus" shit this is just a segregated part of the whole.
-Harry anderson doesn't look anything like Harry anderson, despite his description in the epilogues basically making a joke about John's son literally being physically a young Harry Anderson, someone john looked up to in the original comic. This happening was apperently another joke judging by the writers mentioning how he didn't look like what was expected in a joking way on their social media, but without that context it just looks like complete laziness. The joke isn't mentioned in the comic at all, either.
-John implies his dad was apparently a piece of shit when his house gets destroyed despite him being the most caring and overbearing of the parental figures in the OG homestuck. Homestuck literally goes out of it's way to show how fucking good of a person and upstanding of a father his dad is to a parodical level of degrees like leaving secret notes under heavy shit in case his son gets strong enough to lift it and john realistically traumatized by his dads death.
-DRAMA and CLIFFHANGERS on every fucking update like the shittiest of soap operas.
One example really fucks me up and I think it was one of the last updates before the thing went on eternal "hiatus"

Homestuck 2 never even made it past the 1st act before putting itself on a probably permanent indefinite hiatus and before doing that attempted to piecemeal shit off to make extra cash like some kind of "homestuck as a service" type shit while the writers waxed poetic er I mean PrOSe about how much they fucking love communism.

We go from like one of the few actually comedic scenes in the thing of the gang thats somewhat split into a few factions due to reasons giving empty hostage threats and pointing out how dumb the whole thing is afterwards to IMMEDIATELY the one they were threatening carpet bombing the city in her battleship with no explanation of how things got like that. it's not a comedic jump cut there's another scene before it of some characters doing some other shit but the span of time required for what happens makes no damn sense, nor does the motivation when the person doing this shit is supposed to be like a corporate politician woman now. Murder your voter base just because I guess? John forgets to do his wind powers because no reason given (DRAMA!!!) and his house blows up. the update ends with him literally collapsing in front of his house, fucking broken by what just happened, and understandably so. "Where the hell are they gonna go from here?" is what some people wondered. next update happens and John's suddenly happy and smiling about it and goes the shit where he acts like it's ok because it was a negative reminder because DAD BAD HIGH EXPECTATIONS or some shit that makes no sense if you actually paid attention to everything concerning john and his dad. basically this reverts any fucking suspense to nil and MILLIONS ARE DEAD but that's not addressed cause they don't matter.
The reason this shit happened like this? in the span of time between updates the fucking twitter cliques somewhat close to the writers were cooing about it being great that "june is finally free from her past and can move on!" or some shit like that. See, homestuck people in CURRENT YEAR are a specially fractured breed. The ones that seem to frequent twitter really and I mean REALLY fucking hate john. Not because of like flaws or anything they consider him "too boring" and come oup frequently with ways to either get rid of him or "improve him" usually by making him a her or making him a her that use to be a him. Basic bitch trannyfanfic stuff.
Hussie being the cryptic internet funnyman he is did a funny thing where he put some toblerones in a random ass location in california or some shit for people to grab for free. He also did this in another place later but this is like the initial one. Of course, the first person that finds them (or the first that posted about finding them) is some girl that's one of those fanficcy types I guess goes "i now declare june canon lmao" or some shit like that and hussie goes all funny genie mode and goes "wish granted" with nothing else after that. he did the same thing with other people that got them afterwards that found out abotu that inittial reply "canonizing" shit that sometimes made no sense or drawing funny pictures just being an overall goofball about shit that didn't really matter as he rakes in T H E D O U G H .
Now, with how homestuck works and the bullshit time travel and timeline splits there could absolutely be a timeline where the june shit happens. Makes perfect sense, right? However, that's not what ended up happening. What ended up happening was john torture in the homestuck sequels and loosely setting up implications that john is unhappy because "she's actually june" despite the fact they keep fucking with john in ways that give him literal reasons to be unhappy.
Literally any fan theory I've seen of what it could mean has been more interesting than the reality of what the writers decided to go with. Who knows? Maybe they'll invert it and go base it on the OTHER fan theories about the cross-timeline shit with both John and June teaming up to beat whatever nebulous big bad that may or may not await at the end if they ever get the shit out of being "locked till the final update due to harassment from fans". The aggro attitude towards fans that theorized about John continuing to exist in any way tells me otherwise though.

He’s an actual newspaper comic “artist”, but Ted Rall comes to mind. Ignoring the Moviebob-tier takes (which he has been making since before the Obama administration) his art is just plain ugly (like the amerimutt wojak meme) in addition to being low-effort. His art just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. He also self-inserts (one time as a superhero) and is friends with the one and only Cole Smithey (CWC’s half-brother).
He’s like Moviebob and CWC put together, but somehow found success decades before idpol became mainstream. Maybe newspapers are a hidden source of lolcows going back years?

It's got a competent and yet completely repulsive art style and the protagonist is as smugly unlikeable and infallible as Rayne from Least I Could Do and yet even more shallow and offensive. The comics range from "kill those I dislike" to "disgusting sex joke" and cover everything in between. The creators had the sense to let their comic just disappear from the Internet, but random strips can still be found if you look.

Interesting to see a man get drawn into madness of Shredded Moose. I had forgotten about the tranny who loooooooves Shredded Moose. Also this Blended Goose parody actually made me laugh.

Does anyone remember a webcomic that I think was called The Sexy Losers Club? I read it for awhile back in the early 2000s and there was a strip about someone's mom telling them how they were born. She was a porn star who got blinded by jizz during a bukkake scene and was crawling around on the floor. Another jizz blinded porn star bumped into her nether regions and nine months later there was a baby. I'm not making this up and Lordy Lord I wish I was.
