They are ruining my enjoyment of that one clip with them feeling the need to include it in their review as some kind of dig. *sigh* What made the clip so funny was a bunch of out of touch boomers stumbling upon internet memes and not getting it, along with the fact that one of the women was caught on camera actually laughing at it. I didn't even care that it was a meme against TERFs because the fact it was a random image of an anime girl pointing a gun at the camera being talked about seriously in a government setting was the funny part.

It also feels weird how they write about Lily because it makes it seem like the most important part of their character is the fact that she's trans (up for debate) rather than talking about her actual personality. Maybe it's related to something that happened in the episode, but it just comes off as weirdly hyper focused on just one (maybe) aspect of Lily's character.

Do weaboos glorify the less savory aspects of Japan, like the loneliness, justice system, overworking to the end, etc, etc.?
Or they just brush it aside?
The weebs don’t think of that, they only think of the animu, waifu, husbando, imoutou, and onii-Chan.

They only care about their agenda.

That also reminded me of this tweet, where someone has an Idolm@ster-themed itasha car, but the biggest standout part is that a Rin Hoshizora plush (who is from Love Live) is attached to the rear racing tow hook, so that driver "drags" Rin around:

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be some form of dark humor, or someone that has a real disturbing hate boner for a competitor.
Suffer! Fictional character from a video game! Your fans are going to see you getting dragged around and cry!

Not autistic & r.etarded at all.

Weeb rants about bad translations...then troons & black people.

While he is correct he also has a serious case of nippon fetish:

His troon bashing is hilarious tho

Lol. Only japanese draw anatomy now. Literally the most common and easy to research topic in art ever.

whats more funny is that so many japanese artists just trace from the countless animu reference books made for tracing. You see the exact same poses and angles over and over thanks to that tendency to cut corners and make things by the numbers.

It is always identity politics ruining everything. Nobody can just enjoy their media without dumbass shit throwers trying to ruin it.
Everybody feels that they need to be represented in every form of media no matter what it is. And yet so often these groups only make up a tiny percentage of the people out there.

The whole point of telling a story is telling a story. If that story is made better by the inclusion of a trans character then by all means add them. But if they're only being added because of "inclusion" then really what's the point? Obviously there is none but it won't stop these spergs from complaining that they're not be represented.

Then on the other hands you have trans-activists literally identifying every single character out there as trans in one way or another. Oh they wore a dress once as a joke? They're trans. They wore makeup? They're trans. They gave a hug to a good friend? They're trans. It never ends.

Forget about the Nagatoro "sus" translation. The latest Wonder Egg Priority episode has the phrase "no cap" in the dub. More Funi fuckery. It may make for some amusing drama on twitter. Even the guy who went off on the Nagatoro translation made a new account and hasn't spazzed out about it yet.

For a second I thought this was about the genshin drama I saw randomly popping up, but it seems that was something different. From what I can gather a pretty active artist named Veechu (known for idol AU with the characters) posted some fanart and dared to use the phrase "to be free from my shackles" in a reply which got the hoard against them. After receiving a bunch of harassment they deleted their account and left twitter. Here's the thread where I first found out about it, mostly people pointing out how dumb it was and giving people out of the loop some context.
https://archive.md/95VA9

This thread is a little more informative and someone actually includes the "offending" tweet in horrible quality:

and someone else gives even more context on how dumb the whole thing is:

After some more digging it looks like one of the people that was harassing Veechu is also known for harassing other artists, I don't know if they've been posted in the thread yet. After some more looking around I found a post that featured the name of the account + included some screenshots:

the account (which is private at the time of writing).

If anyone's curious to look more into it you can just look up Veechu and find discussion on it still. Seems there's quite a rabbit hole of drama in genshin twitter because a lot of it is coming up in the discussion of Veechu.
