They know they can't fuck with Reuben Langdon, so they'll go with the VA with the least renown like the bullies they are. From what we've seen there's been a fuckload of projecting going on. Everytime someone flings something at Vic there's always decent evidence that it's something wrong they've felt/done/wanted to do. It's pretty creepy at this point.

Actually I think it's even smaller. There's a number of Funimation voice actors who haven't said a single thing about this whole controversy. I find that very interesting considering how easy it was to dunk on him when this started. Nowadays you can claim it's because of all the attention this is getting and the risk of being sued, but for a good month before Nick and the other people stepped in it was open season on Vic.. yet there were Funimation VAs who said nothing. It's optimistic to hope for some secret pro-Vic group in Funimation, and maybe they're just smart enough to play this by ear and realize there's no good reason to be jumping in on this, but it's something I've noticed.

The biggest surprise to me is Sonny Strait. Despite that Vic Mignogna parody video he did, he's actually been pretty neutral and respectful, even going so far as to defend Vic kissing and hugging fans. As for the other accusation he specifically states that those are none of his business and it's between those women and Vic.

The bulk of the people who've been overtly KV, as far as I've seen, are part of the same "era" of ADV/Funi dubs from like 2002-2007 (Monica, Jamie, Chris Sabat, etc.). I haven't noticed too many of the newer VAs getting involved, nor the VAs that work primarily on Viz's anime projects with Vic. To some degree, that makes sense, since they worked with him quite a bit during that time period, but it is a little odd.

I think Sabat isn't on the table yet strictly because it's too much work to deal with all of them atm. Also Funi's response to this should help make Sabat an easier target.
It may also help to clear Vic's name a bit more before more pedophile allegations are brought up. That way it doesn't look like Vic is just saying "no u".

One of them is that they'd have a fairly compelling argument that Sabat is a vice principal of Funimation which would make them liable for his actions. They may have wanted to leave him out in order to blindside Funimation with all of the information they've gathered on Chris, whereas if he were in the lawsuit they'd have to spill some of that much, much earlier.

I'm guessing that they have an affidavit or two from some convention owner that Sabat contacted. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them recall Sabat brining up Funimation as a part of those conversations either.
