1) Nomikai Dallas.... is in Lewisville. Ok, it's part of Dallas-Forth Worth, but it's a bit like me saying "I have a Con in London!" and then sending you off to Uxbridge. Technically still in London. Nowhere fucking remotely close to anything you'd consider "London" when I say that word to you.

2) It's in what looks a lot like the it's been dumped into a big box store that died and was reincarnated as a huge, cold, drafty former Sears that you usually throw some clearish plastic up for your assassin's scene in your cheap ass movie: http://premiereventcenterlewisville.com/

3) It's only in its second year and from this Artists Alley video... not that well attended and certainly not the kind of place that would be able to afford Vic.

So the take away it feels from this is that Shane tried this to grab Vic for cheap, but wanted to also play wokepoints because these parasites never ever can fucking help themselves and it's all backfiring hilariously and horribly.

It's based on a Tumblr Webcomic, but it's basically a ripoff of Little Witch Academia, I think? it's got a shitload of woke dipshits working for it, the creator is a Tumblr F2M Tranny (IIRC a Transtrender), yadda yadda. Basically a perfect storm of woke.

Kate Leth: Yes, THAT Kate Leth. I believe she was hired on at Marvel as a woke welfare hire. Squirrel Girl? Hellcat? Some B list character she promptly ran into the ground.

Audu Paden: Supervising Director and token male who might actually make them do work, he has a rather impressive resume, including Animaniacs; his recent work has mostly been of the toy company advert-animations like "Monster High" and "Max Steel," however, so... we'll see.

Of the actual content, I'm torn. The still frame teaser we've seen, well, I will admit weakness -- if that was a webcomic I'd read the hell out of it. Yeah, it's Calarts Beanmouth garbage, but at least it's decently done.



As for it being DOA, haven't heard that. However, NOTHING is being spoken about it since it's announcement and it's virtue signaling trailer. ("Look, we're SO DIVERSE! 100% white women!") It's just that... right after announcing this, Crunchyroll lost a HUGE amount of their content due to Funimation (Sony) breaking their contract. So a lot of people started asking exactly where their anime subs were going if the CR website is still shit, they're losing content left and right, and yet they still have millions to pump into creating a shitty Calarts Beanmouth Animation studio staffed by woke hipster cunts.

Yeah about that “Women in Animation” group. There would seem to be some shady shit there as well. Our little Youtube friend Danphan29 did a few pieces on them awhile back. Charge annual and recurring membership fees, provide no services for actual women, except a very narrow group of dangerhaired ideologies. Well it seems nothing happened til Ethan posted the threat on Twitter. Then someone else on Twitter passed that on to the FBI and local PD. Then he got the call, asking about the details of the threat. What time it was etc.... he said he didn't know. All of that, plus he thought he'd notify Twitter before the police? Tells me he's lying out his ass.

But since all bomb threats are treated as credible for safety, procedure demands that they act as if its real.

Knowing a little about con politics, and how autistic they can get, I think what happened here was that Shane was "fired" as Operations Director from A-Kon in 2017, but he wanted to keep that quiet, and he's doing Nomikai out of spite. Nomikai had its first year in 2018. It's unlikely that's coincidental. I doubt very much he resigned from A-Kon under good terms, and it was probably a huge blow to his ego.

He could have easily flown under the radar if he wasn't such a turbosped in Nick's stream. The fact that his Linkedin listed him still working for A-Kon, and that he said that there was collusion to keep Vic out of cons (and he could help change that), forced A-Kon to immediately disavow (they supposedly directly contracted Nick at some point). He fails as both a legal expert and as a voice for con organizers.

In the end, I think Shane's biggest motivation in all this is to reclaim power, credibility, and relevance for himself. The woke train is just a convenient mode of transportation.
