As you may or may not know, Vic comes from a divorced household and did not have a relationship with his father.
When he became a Star Trek fan, he found a male role model in William Shatner's Captain Kirk.

When Vic began his Star Trek Continues series, he often talked about how much Kirk meant to him.
Then I found about this incident.
I was informed by someone that Vic and the Star Trek Continues staff used Shatner's image without his permission and Shatner found out:

Unfortunately, Shatner (or someone using Shatner's account) tweeted about what broke the camel's back and he blocked ALL of the cast members of Star Trek Continues.

I'm pretty sure that it was one of Shatner's social media people who started the beef with Vic in the first place, Shatner is a renowned shitposter on twitter and apparently loves to post on 4chan's /tv/ board when he feels the need to.
