On a serious note, it's because of Nick. Apparently he reads up on this thread every night, and he acts as a public face for an otherwise anonymous forum, while not being an actual member of said forum. It's a good arrangement. Stuff that might be disregarded or swept under the rug because it's from that alt-right incel redneck forum gets some traction because a real, verifiable voice is spreading it. Yeah but both rhyme and fornever have beef with other's inside geekdom's circle. rhyme with terez and fornever with yonkou and anyone around yonkou cos they didn't like him taking a stance on vic and started dissing his rap career about a month back. I don't think they're very buddy-buddy anymore especially considering rhyme and fornever don't need Geekdom. They have follower bases as big or bigger than geekdom and have their own inside sources at Bandai, Toei or Funimation. Doesn't mean they still don't talk, but like I said, don't think they could really be considered one of his circle anymore.
Correcting someone on a mistake doesn't mean much. Geekdom is a pompous prick that likes to brag about his knowledge of db and lorde it over others, must've been smug about it, like he is about 100% of everything he does. Anyone with enough time to pour over all the manga/official DB material could do what he does. Evidenced by the fact that Herms does this, does it better too.
Also yeah, voice of malzar. He and senpai had a twitter feud last week when sen brought up how malzar was defending geekdom. i forget so don't quote me on this, but I think it had something to do with geekdom being attacked by people who heard about vic being forced out of KC and then rehired and geekdom was trying to take himself out of the line of fire by saying he was only the host and didn't have any influence over who the con invited or disinvited. Think malzar was saying something along the lines of "why would anyone attack you when you clearly don't have that amount of influence" and sen scoffed at the statement by posting a grab of malzar's tweet and juxtaposed it with a grab of geekdom bragging about having chris sabat's phone number (with a picture of his contacts) on twitter.
Sen then showed grabs that malzar DM'd him about dropping the beef by saying he deleted his tweets and was trying to force sen to do the same. Think Sen made a vid on him and Dominique on the same day addressing all of the twitter beef and that's what the privacy complaint he received was about. As for Malzar's own beef with geekdom, idk, malzar seems to have made up with him if he's trying to defend geekdom.
Is he that same VA from Team infinite that geekdom wanted to borrow?

Bubba fest sounds amazing and I'm not even a con person.
There's something for everyone, which is unusual compared to other cons which tend to be focused.
Also, it might be sacrilege considering he's up against Ty, but I think Chris might've been Nick's best Vic-related guest. Dude was chill, knowledgeable, well-spoken, and sounded friendly.

Life ProTip: You never, ever, ever put yourself in that situation by trying to hook up with someone you manage. Even if there's a very good legitimate reason to fire them soon after, they will still be able to claim you fired them because they turned you down.
Just in general, trying to hook up with anyone you work with is a bad idea, but we're weak humans. But people you manage are off limits full stop.
I love cons and Bubba Fest sounds like a kick ass con. Anime and schlocky horror movies at one con with a redneck bent sounds like a great time. I would for sure make time if I was in the area.
Kamehacon is gonna be real interesting. I hope the amount of guests and positive feedback is enough to keep the con going in spite of the VA's crippling exceptionalism. It's unfair to the fans for VAs of the show they love to be the killing blow.
