lost 40 pounds in 6 months through portion control, biweekly intermittant fasting, and regular exercise. felt good to have found out i lost 40 pounds. my brain was buzzing when i found out.

maybe i'll double the walking per week from 6 miles to 12 miles and knock off the carbs by half to loose 40-50 more.
Great work, keep it up

Overcame that weight loss plateau when I wanted to give up. My weight is lower than last year. I did a rotation of night shifts, so no working out for me because I work out after work not before. I thought I would give myself a break working out. I am going to be really working out once I go back to day shift.

I haven't had a cheat meal in about a good week, and I do not buy junk food anymore.

My diet consists of three bottled protein shake. I take a 20g protein shake (slim fast for breakfast), then I have a 40g protein shake for lunch (Lean Body), and then a 30g protein shake for dinner (Premier). I also snack on other high-protein and healthy foods throughout the day. I basically eat to live and not suffer from psudohypoglycemia.

I started out on just Slim Fast Advanced at the beginning of the year, but those shakes are not as filling as the other ones.

I have PCOS without insulin resistance, so I am a very fuel-efficient machine, unfortunately (I hate evolution). Fat genes also run in the family. My basal metabolic rate is like 1325 calories per day. How long can I survive on 100+ grams of just protein a day sub-1000 calories diet? My coworker told me to see a nutritionist, but I can gain weight on less than 2000 calories a day.

I lost 11 pounds of fat and 1 pound of muscle since January.

I was struggling to fully commit to weightloss and exercise at the beginning of the year. Just wasn't disciplined enough. But since March, I've finally got it down again. I've been exercising regularly and I've even started running again, which feels amazing, despite it being much harder with all the added weight. And I've stopped overeating, regardless of how shitty I feel or whatever my excuses were, which is a relief. I'm genuinely so tired of being fat.

I'm only down five pounds now, and have quite a way to go. But I'm getting there.

Edited for multiple stupid typos.

I do good on watching what I eat/no soda/etc then have a day where I eat just a fuckton of Taco Bell or other trash.

I'm still down 20 pounds from last fall when covid fatness struck hard but at least 20 more to go before I'm back to what I weighed in high school.

And then I probably gotta lose ANOTHER 20 down to 200 to actually be not fat. But progress is progress. Focusing on meals and a consistent treadmill exercise routine.

Keep going, guys!
Did you drink enough water today?

My work won't let me drink water due to covid so I have to drink a water bottle during my two breaks and lunch.

Its a bummer because I'm fucking thirsty all day then drink a ton of water when I get home and wake up like at 2 am to piss.

Anyone have a good weight training program for standard gym machines/free weights to add on to my three miles of incline treadmill?

I don't wanna pack on muscle or anything just be fit so I'm not all sad bones when I drop more pounds.

177 this morning. 7 pounds from the goal I set back in January of 2020. But the true power...is to go....beyond...

Still doing the calorie counting and trying to maintain a deficit. But that hump at the 180 mark was killing me so I introduced the dreaded intermittent fast. Limited food on Thursdays and Sundays and then being very careful on Mondays and Fridays to not binge but eat as normal. Dropped 3 pounds almost immediately.

Only lost one fucking pound this month. Either I'm eating more than I am supposed to (most likely) or I'm about to hit that fucking plateau bullshit.

EDIT: Fuck me it's not my food consumption.

Don't get too worried about that. There are other factors as to why you may have not lost much since you last checked in (when you last went to the bathroom in relation to when you weighed yourself most recently, the time of day that it is, etc.) Keep doing what you're doing and remember that even if you just lost 1lb, that's still progress.
