Weird/funny shit in scientific publications. - Science! at its finest.

We all fucking love Science! I'm sure. But some science is more entertaining than others. This is the thread where we discuss all the fun shit scientists get up to.
My personal favorite way to do this is to go on PubMed and search for terms that may yield funny results (checking the box for "free full article" is a huge plus) and posting them on A&N. Among my personal favorites is a study about some autistic guy who would gyrate on the floor any time a woman entered the room wearing sandals because he had a foot fetish. But alas, I am just one man and PubMed doesn't always provide.
So here I am with a mission: I want a repository of funny shit from open access publications and I need your help. Do any of you scientifically inclined individuals here know of "peer-reviewed" scientific publications that publish ridiculous shit we can point and laugh at? Submit your favorite studies here!

Abstracts are cool, but I'd much prefer if the whole study were available.

This is actually a good thread idea. If anybody is in social sciences or any grievance areas there will probably be a lot of funny stuff.

The grievance study affair (sokal squared) was pretty damn funny and there are probably serious papers referenced in those that would provide some laughs.
