Weirdest Foods You've Ever Eaten - share your iron stomach

I'm an extreme omnivore because I legitimately enjoy trying new things as far as cuisine goes.

Weirdest thing I've eaten so far is rattlesnake, crickets, and I think mealworms? (Insects were raised for consumption, i don't just pick things up off the ground.)

Next thing I want to try is gator.

Escargot, alligator tendies, alligator sausage, emu jerky and frogs legs.

Sharkfin soup-pretty good. The bits of cartillage in it kind of have the texture of noodles.

Stingray- not kidding, tasted like chicken. Very light and flaky though.

Next thing I want to try is gator.

It's kind of gamy, but like similar things, is great in a spicy sausage. I once had a delicious andouille-style gator sausage served in a hot cast iron serving plate/mini-skillet with sizzling honey. It was so delicious I burned my mouth while not being able to wait until it cooled down.

I don't think I've eaten anything weird enough to appear in one of those Andrew Zimmern shows, though there are a few of those on my bucket list, like hakarl, balut, casa marzu, and some of those others.

The king of those is probably fugu. I'd really like to try that at some point.

Scorpions are naturally salty, so you don't have to season them much. They're pretty good.

As much as I haven't eaten any sort of weird food, I'm willing to try something like dinuguan if that counts as weird. It's a Filipino dish that's basically stewed pig blood.

I didn't like rabbit however.

Cow tongue, escargot, swordfish and alligator jerky. The latter was more tough to chew than regular beef jerky.

I had squid ink spaghetti at an Italian restaurant in San Diego.

It was actually pretty good.
