Any drinking alcohol that can burn should be good for surface and superficial disinfection. The clearer and cleaner the better. There's also the category of digestive bitter's, which are good for stomach aches. If you go on Wikipedia and type in bitters you get a decent list. I recommend the Italian ones as they taste the best imo.
Apparently all hard liquor, that's why a bunch like whiskey and akvavit have names that mean "water of life" and they were used as medicine like 500 years ago. Which makes me wonder if drinking hard liquor was the late medieval equivalent to how kids drink cough syrup nowadays.
