The Southern United States is the beating heart of America. It in my opinion encapsulates both the best and worst aspects of life in the US and I would argue that it’s natural beauty is unparalleled among the states. I love the south with all my heart despite having spent most of my life trying to get as far away from it as I could. They may not be the smartest people but they support their own regardless of color even in most cases.

It is used as a punching bag by the party that ya know created the confederacy. I have spent a fair amount of time in a number of southern states and shockingly the people there are just people but they are painted as either ignorant niggers who cannot get an ID or insane frothing at the mouth Klansmen who just want to kill the inferiors.

Truth is they are just people in places that have been largely shredded by policies that shipped their jobs elsewhere.
