On one hand it's wildly optimistic on the other it's wildly pessimistic, but both are our possible futures, sadly I think we will end up with a mix of both but it won't be evenly distributed.

How do you see the world and yourself 30 years from now? 50 years from now 100 years from now? Because it's our decisions today that's going to define the future.

I'm amused by the pessimistic portrayal of food in the future.

It's a pretty common viewpoint. People have substantial biases for "natural" food that is rarely justified by any science. Like, that's Whole Food's business model.

I think that in the future the world will be like the anime Psycho-Pass because psychiatry will finally become a workable system

In 2020, I believe that a black metal band named Phantikult will accidentally summon a horde of demons through their music, ravishing the land, whilst imbuing it with magic. The demons would help rebuild earth into a sorcerous mockery of its old self, where humans live alongside body horror people known as "the Anthropoid". In 2090, countries will team up into associated regions, practicing the faith of their olden gods. Barbarians would scour the land, the north would be frozen over, cities would become walled and the internet can access different dimensions.
