Always have wondered this.
Henry Bemis said:I think there was a prank call where Bob had no idea what a Sonichu was.
And Barb knew enough about the comics to tell Chris to stop writing the egocentric sub-episodes (orders he completely misinterpreted).

How did he misinterpret?

They both apparently believed Nintendo wanted to make the Sonichu game as well. When you consider Chris was brought up with this level of delusion it's no wonder he thinks Sonichu should be a billion dollar empire.
Thing is, Borb raised a son who couldn't speak till he was 7 and still can't toilet himself as an adult so they were probably amazed that he could hold a fucking pen (badly) let alone draw something up to the level of a nine year old.

I personally have my doubts, for two reasons. One, Chris said he was given Go-Bots if he correctly spoke, and Go-Bots were off the market by then. Two, I can't imagine any school would mainstream a child who was both mute AND autistic.
Either Chris could talk, but was a bit on the quiet side, or the story is complete bullshit.
