I think it's been two months
ED never stays up for long. Because, ya know...ED..
I've heard two different stories: server issues and funding issues. Since they haven't reached their goal (According to their gofundme page and the fact that their fundraiser ended five days ago with $2,899 raised out of the pledged goal of $5,000) I'd say it was due to funding issues. Seems like nobody gives a flying fuck about ED anymore. At least it served its purpose of giving us the greatest lolcow of our time, Christian Chandler.

The GoFundMe hasn't ended if I'm not wrong, already funded $2,899 so far.
For me, the articles on ED which I enjoyed the most are the earlier ones, the newer ones terribly suck. There are some recent ones which are good (e.g. Rika, Matthew Moulton etc.) but other than that, it's just gone way downhill.
We are hoping to be back up shortly. We had a problem with our host. They accepted our back payment, yet they deleted the data and re-rented the servers on us. We still have the data safe tho.
Also, there is a wiki clone up on a new TLD. It's not us. Visit it in our downtime if u wish, but don't try to log in. It is not us and they do not have the user tables. You will just be feeding your password to whoever it is.
