What is the best gun to use against glowies? -

Personally, I like long range sniping with a weapon that has high burst damage, as for example with a Gauss Rifle. This saves you from having to get close, and effectively sidesteps a Glowies two main powers - resurrecting minion swarms, and their Rad aura. If your stealth is high enough, you can take them down even on Survival before they figure out where you are.
If you need to fight them in CQB, I'd recommend bringing Power Armor (or Robes of Atom's Devoted, if you're feeling bold) and any high DPS gun with the Wounding prefix that you can get your hands on - maybe a shotgun or a minigun, let's say.

A silencer. The glowie might not be able to keep quiet, but the gun can!

Pre B CZ 75. Train until you can get their fingers. Dumb feds.
@IAmNotAlpharius Use 5.7 ammunition against soft armor, it'll go right through.
