I don't think his lifestyle is particularly conductive to healthy reproductive capabilities, to put it delicately. I'm sure McDonalds every day and little exercise will reduce fertility considerably.

This question has merit. Now we know OPL took Paxil in 2000. A 2009 study was published in the journal "Fertility and Sterility" about Paxil and related drugs.

“It’s fairly well known that SSRI anti-depressants negatively impact erectile function and ejaculation. This study goes on step further, demonstrating that they can cause a major increase in genetic damage to sperm,” said Dr. Peter Schlegel, the study’s senior author and professor of reproductive medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York.

We also know Chris has a shitty lifestyle. With no nutrients his body may have to spend the energy it has to keep OPL alive with sperms being a secondary priority.

The chance of Chris being sterile might be higher than average. Hopefully this sheds some light on the subject.

He's been recycling, so since he's been keeping it all from going to waste, he should have almost 20 years worth of sperm cells just waiting to go into action! And these are veterans who have been practicing over and over for their big mission.
