I don't care to hear if you believe in ghosts or not, this is for people that believe in the "other" realm. I have had no personal experiences with people that practice these rituals but I know that they tend to have dark energy following them around. Maybe it's because they're generally creepy. I've been interested in demonology (not to become an edgy dark lord), it's the kind of interest you'd have towards a wild tiger but you would never actually try to pet it and make it your friend.
It's fine to be a skeptic but share any general experiences you've had that are unexplainable. Like, it may have been an animal or the wind but your gut feeling was telling you that somebody was in there, somebody with ill intentions. Somebody talked to you but no one was there, etc. Or maybe it didn't feel human or animal.

They're usually dumb cunts like Wiccans. A good portion of Satanists are basically edgy wokesters who think atheism is for neckbeards and Christianity is for white boomers and just want an alternative religion that isn't too "Eastern". I have never known a cool or well-adjusted Satanist. They are mostly danger hairs, bohemian hippies, and Tumblrinas.

What the fuck? They're turning it into some kind of lovey-Dovey nonsense? Go figure. I'm talking about ancient stuff and trying to summon demons to enact revenge or some shit.
They aren't real satanists. Because Satan (pick any name resembling an evil spirit) hates mankind.

Some 15 years ago I worked with a disturbingly obese girl (400 or 500lbs) who was a devout Wicca. She was white trash, dumb as a box of rocks, could barely walk and was in an open relationship with 4 other fugly girls that used to pick her up . She also wore those satanic looking rings, necklaces, and carried around some sort of small bible. One day she just disappeared.

Reading something out of curiosity isn't the same as wanting to go out and practice it. Don't worry I don't play with fire.
The problem with 'reading something' is that satanism and the occult are so broad and filled with bad information. When you're dealing with literal devils and witches what makes you think they aren't lying or deluded? How can you as a layman distinguish between fact and fiction when it comes to realities you cant physically experience? Even if you don't get into the occult, if you implement some of the 'protection' or 'warding' stuff they advocate to safeguard yourself you will get yourself into some issues.

Depends.

Surface level/LaVeyan/internet Satanist: basically an atheist that uses Satanism as a flying speghetti monster stand in to seem interesting edgy and cool. More interested in pissing off mommy and daddy than actual giving a shit about theological or epistomological discussion/theory. Some of them just decide "these ethics sound nice and aren't icky Christian ideas." Definitely in the "I Lerb Halloween." And "Imma spoopy witch." Crowds.

Theological Satanists: Go a little further than LaVey and generally embrace more of the ethics espoused by LaVey while including more social Darwinism a la Stanisław Przybyszewski. These lot might actually do shit like join freemason orders and play around with occult rituals. All in all, they mostly just come off as more tryhard than the surface-level satanist.

ONA: i've made this joke before but seriiusly: take the most derangedly drunk murder-bogan you can find, don't let him wash for 3 months, get him to LARP as a druid, and turn him loose on the Welsh countryside. These are the actual crazies and more often than not just use the ideas of religion to justify their paranoid schizophrenia and self-hatred.

I have my own ways of protecting myself that were used for thousands of years by my ancestors. Not a good idea to take that kind of advice from a Satanist, cause they're stupid enough to play with fire like that in the first place. Modern sources are b.s. for the most part anyway. But I know that sometimes even associating yourself with a fraction of this kind of stuff can be enough to make something follow you. My partner is a Christian, we both have our own beliefs and ways of protecting ourselves but I know they would hate seeing a book like that in our home. Even if it's innocent curiosity or something.

Demonology is interesting stuff though, Satanist or not.

That's not called Satanism. You're thinking of Magick and the Occult. Gnosticism, Alchemy, Thelema, John Dee, The Lesser Key of Solomon, that kind of shit. Most occult practices don't involve summoning demons, but shit like basic herbalism, casting wards around one's home, and impressing one's will upon reality directly.

By occult standards, the average 4chan user employs magick all the time, unwittingly, when they declare that posts represent some hidden truth about reality just by having an ID number with dubs, trips, quads, or whatever. Some occult techniques, like Gematria, involve looking for patterns in sentences by decoding them into numbers and re-encoding them into text.

Basically all "magick" is about making the contents of your mind into reality through ritual. It's extremely schizo, wishful thinking shit.

No, people don't summon demons. They engage in voluntary psychological splitting through what is essentially hypnosis and then talk to their split personality, which they have primed themselves to believe is a demon. It's just like when some depressed and lonely /mlp/ user makes a Tulpa of Rainbow Dash. It's self-hypnosis, and anyone can do it. Others augment it with drugs and altered mind states, which should tell you everything you need to know.

Aleister Crowley was a massive fucking druggie and took everything under the sun.

The rest of it is pareidolia and coincidences and poor misguided people thinking that chanting in a basement for a few hours made a black cat walk past them the following evening.

Lots of schizos claim that the CIA found proof of real psychic phenomena through the Stargate Project, but even scientists going over the data couldn't find any solid evidence that the participants were doing anything more than guessing.

Research the Occult all you like, but I guarantee that you'll find the same thing I did. Drug abuse and pure, concentrated schizophrenia.

How would you explain the unexplainable? Probably things you'd refer to as coincidence. So-called demonic experiences not fueled by drugs.

Of the ones I knew, both were fucking nuts. One was an unironic theistic Satanist who was obsessed with Ars Goetia stuff (specifically Marchosias), had an unhealthy obsession with dead animals and got the words "No Future" tattooed on their goddamn eyebrow (and was a genderspecial). The other was an oddball ex-military guy who chased after a MtF and eventually trooned out himself. Beyond that I don't know of any others for certain - some Wiccans but that's a slightly different form of autism.
