What is your Favorite cwc saga? -

I don't know if this had been already asked or not, but I thought it might be a good topic. I guess the "sagas" are like chapters in Chris' life of some sort? (correct me if I'm wrong).
MY favorite Saga is the The GAMe PLACe because it seemed like a story about a heroic manager trying to save his business by getting rid of an almost 30 year old man( I think he was in his 20's) who was turning away lots of customers and succeeds Banning the man child. after all that fiasco, Chris tried numerous times to get back in the store, which one of the events led to a vehicle assault of some sort, which in turn put both Chris and his mother in a lot of serious trouble with the law. I think a few days ago, he posted a face book status about not wanting to do anything with the GAMe PLACe anymore.

Don't you mean the Julie/Bluspike saga? That's the one where Chris drove to Cleveland.

I'm tied between the Miyamoto and Liquid Chris saga. The former is due to the Reggie emails while the latter is from the father call.

A great example of her screeching at Chris is in this call. Liquid was doing a great job of tweaking Chris and getting him to flip his shit, and then Kacey comes in and yells at Chris and stops the hilarity before it can start. So where she says "don't talk to my boyfriend like that," for example.

In terms of trolling, for me it's ABL/Asperchu. It was clever, subtle, and ABL was just passive and let Chris make a complete idiot of himself. I'm really not a fan of the more "aggressive" trolling styles adopted by the likes of Bluespike, but that discussion's been done to death.

But in terms of overall saga's, It has to be Megan. Apart from Chris reacting to the stuff on ED, this saga was entirely Chris' own, and it started long before anybody else knew about him.
The highlight is definitely "shecameforcwc" and the way Chris just cannot grasp why Megan is upset at him for not only drawing, but uploading a picture of her lying naked and spreadeagled whilst he crudely jams his fingers into her gaping, gushing vagina. He then proceeds to insult her further by explaining to her what the sex act is because he assumes that she's upset due to ignorance and naivete.
Then to top it all off, in true cwc-style he manages to turn the whole situation up to 11 by telling her that he had to draw the picture because if he didn't then he would have ended up doing something he would regret.

I can't think of a situation where the best way to diffuse it would be by saying " I had to do that horrible thing, cos if I didn't I was gonna rape you!"

Either Julie or Ivy for me! Julie for the Ohio trip as mentioned, but despite what people think of it, i love all the bluespike shenanigans! And the Ivy for the depraved detail he went into, he also went itno full crazy durin that one often

Liquid saga was my favorite personally. Not to mention that the guy behind liquid is a pretteh cool guy, eh kills cancer and doesnt afraid of anything.

Oh man, I fought so hard to get the physical copy of that, but it was sitting in Rocky's office for awhile. I'm sure she threw it away awhile ago.

Probably Megan. It was as pure, troll-influence free saga we could get.

But yeah, Ivy Saga had some of the best videos he ever made. So I'm kinda divided between those two.

This one is tough, since they all have,in my opinion strengths in some areas, but fall short in others. The Bluespike saga had the biggest conclusion to any saga (most of which just fizzle out with chris crashing into slumber) but pretty much all of its content was a little too mean spirited. Then theres tthe liquid chris saga, which was the only time we really get to see chris admit his own faults and somehow succeed in losing to himself, though pretty much all but one phone call from that saga were pretty lame. The asperchu saga was pretty much the liquid chris saga again, but with comic!chris instead of actual!chris, phone calls were all pretty great though, and it really brought out the insanity of chris into the comic pages. the ivy saga, while fruitful, sometimes got a little too creepy for my taste. And the jakie saga was just the ivy saga again, but with chris in different outfits. The calling out/tomgirl saga could have been amazing if it hadnt died, we could have ha a war of the lolcows on our hand.

You know what, Im gonna be hipster and say the flipnote saga. I love animation and I love how terrible chris is at it.

But I do not know if it is an official saga, I am very much drawn towards the "Greene county conspiracy" and how he believes everyone is in collusion.

I love the Court Saga... not only is it well documented, but it's one that's entirely Chris's own doing. No troll involvement at all. :mrgreen:

I think Megan is my favorite, but I also enjoy Asperchu and Jackie, because they both revealed a lot about just how dumb, hypocritical, short-sighted and thoughtless Chris is:

- the trial in issue 10
- Chris' "Toon World" hypothesis
- Chris' inability to understand parody
- Jackie's attempts to get Chris to sell some of his hoarded videogames to get money, which only resulted in Chris turning right around and spending that money on more games
- Chris' justification for his tugboat

His overall berserk rage over the existence of Asperchu was also really entertaining, and Jackie got some pretty funny videos out of him.
