Yeah that was pretty much my point, or as a critic of the "surveillance state" (which wasn't even one of the core tenants of 1984's message) by libtards and conservative pundits - again both of which he didn't like at-all. Orwell might have been a socialist, but he was a classic liberal and poured scorn on left-wing academics and the right-wing alike.
Nationalistic attachment to coloured races is is usually mixed up with the belief that their sex lives are superior, and there is a large underground mythology about the sexual prowess of Negroes. This is now increasingly common among English intellectuals, probably resulting more often from masochism and sexual frustration than from contact with the Oriental and Negro nationalist movements.
