What Men Want - Hollywood officially out of ideas

I actually watched the original when it was released back then and it's a good movie. It's not necessarily comedy, but it has very balanced moments. Also, the movie works because of how different men and women tend to think and behave. Men are more straightforward than women. Rotten Tomatos says this movie proves gender swap can work, but it's completely the opposite: in some stories, this can't work.

Now, I haven't watched this movie, but the premise is awful. Poor women is being discriminated so she gets a way to get even. In the original, Mel Gibson's character was an asshole and keeps being an asshole with his newly acquired powers and even almost costing his female coleague her job. he then gets better.

I saw the trailer and nope-d out without a second thought. I hope this movie bombs like it needs to, simply for coming off like SJWBS, even if it likely isn't, either (I want it to bomb more simply for being sexist garbage with nothing smart to say about itself that you can't here from anyone talking about such issues, while actually being smart, entertaining, and respectful about it, on YouTube, honestly!).

Thanks for doing this, OP.

What men think.

Movie: "I'm going to go hang out with the boys and totally snub this powerful woman who intimidates me with her strength and intelligence."

Jeff Foxworthy hit the nail on the head when he said "Men are thinking one of two things: I'd like a beer and I'd like to see somethin nekkid"
He was amazing in 30 Rock.
