I have been thinking as a bi man who discovered what attracted me after the supreme court won gay rights acceptance in America what are they still doing? They won what is there to fight for? Normal society is too afraid to mock the trans in a public manner. It just seems the movement used to mean something in the eighties and nineties and then went on the crazy train in 2000s with a lot of grifters. Your thoughts?

i think prolly the activists? & maybe the radical transgenders, but that's only the recent stuff. i do not know too much about what's happened before but i think those 2 things may be a reason why. i do definitely agree with the fighting thing, but maybe they are also fighting for acceptance of everybody? which is a bit dumb imho because not everybody is going to like gays, transgenders or anything. which is fine, people can have their opinions with it. but to answer the whole question i think radical activists r prolly a reason why it's been at least a bit destroyed.

The perverse parades definitely aren't helping. You don't see parades of straight people doing this. It gives credence to the whole "gay lifestyle" stereotype and is not gonna help your cause any. Those that shy away from that kind of behavior will still get lumped in because the paraders are so damn loud and in your face about it.

No one outside of religious nutcases will probably care that you are gay as long as you act like a normal member of society. But we've got leather daddies in assless chaps whipping each other in public in what is labeled a parade. Parades are usually considered family friendly events.

I'm not a member of the alphabet league so maybe I'm wrong here, but I feel like we don't need these parades now. They are as polarizing as ever because they make gays look disgusting and the whole thing has been taken over by trannies anyway.
