I just looked through his income section in this subforum, and it's not like he's making a small amount of money. Not to mention Phils Finance degree from Fairfield U, which is a pretty solid school.
It's pretty clear that Phil is not inherently an idiot on paper, not to mention got a full College education on how to NOT do what he's currently struggling with.

Maybe there's some examples I'm missing? I just don't understand where all his money is going and how he dug himself in this hole when he has knowledge on Finance/Accounting, budgeting, etc.
Is there anything he mentions in his streams that exemplify his poor spending habits?

He could have replaced all his furniture for all we know, and if he did he wasn't going thrifting for it. Totally forgot about the BMW. Nothing like leasing a base model German car that struggles to hit 100k miles without 10 grand being poured into repairs on the way. I'd be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and call that a misinformed decision, though it's still certainly symbolic of DSP making overall shitty decisions with his money.
Seems like his income in general bounces around for the most part, and it looks like he's making significantly less money this year, not to mention his Twitch getting periodically suspended. With Kat there now he probably doesn't have as much gaming stuff cluttering up the place, but I'm 100% certain he's still buying expensive gadgets for around the house and paying professionals to do anything that would require even the slightest effort on his part.
