I wonder if Chris will have any charges of elder abuse in the future, adding to the list of run-ins with the law. I can definitely see him forgetting to feed her, wash clothes for her and not knowing generally how to care for an elderly person. Oh lord what if she falls. He doesn't have any muscles.
What's worse is that he is going to be 100% aware of Barb's problems at that point and he will absolutely not show her on camera anymore so people don't see what he's doing or so people can do something about it, call services, etc. But I can see him showing her in a way that doesn't make the neglect too obvious (like tell her to shut up before recording, put the pile of diapers aside, etc. - the woman is going to be so weakened that she simply won't oppose him) if that means more money begging videos and make people feel pity for them. After the video, he'll just leave her again and go back to his bubble.
God what a miserable existence.
It is karmic, if you believe that. And you reap what you sow. I don't think Barb would ever realize that this is what her life would turn out to be: going downhill with her sped of a son. She manipulated Chris to be her personal, obedient mule, and like the lolcow he is, the old mule can't work no more ("work" in terms of doing Barb's bidding).
No, I agree completely. It's just the poor weak old lady effect that makes me feel some pity but it's true that this is simply pure karma.
I'm not going to say this is impossible, but it's highly unlikely unless his team of abusers at the time specifically brainwashes him into ignoring Barb's suffering. Which could happen, but left to his own devices Chris will take care of Barb to the best of his ability and call for help if he can't manage.
It's what she gets for being a manipulative shrew her whole life and I can't say I really feel any pity for her.
We've seen Chris' reaction in the past to thinking Barb is dying. At the very least I think Chris will call for help if he can't handle it anymore.
This might sound harsh but I think it'd be Barb's fault if she expects Chris to be able to look after her in any meaningful way, if she starts failing she should go in a home if that's possible, expecting a delusional autistic manchild to give her 24/7 care is naive in the extreme.
As others said, he might try to do it (and it really won't be the proper care) or he will just give up before starting and ask others for help so he can keep playing alone in peace.

Not sure Barb has such great foresight about issues regarding Chris and his own wellbeing. When her time is up on this planet, she likely isn't going to care about the aftermath of her passing, because she has little else to pass onto someone else, her emotional attachment to anyone outside of Chris is shakey at best and no one else (yes I would say even Cole) is going to partake in any sort of burial/ funeral procession, she has no real motivation to provide Chris with any sort of guidance in any sense, and as heartless as it seems, she's perfectly okay with passing away and doing absolutely nothing at all to help her own son when he would be at one of his saddest points in his life in quite some time.
Not off the top of my head but if I recall he ranted about attending it on Twitter, and of course as is customary he made it about himself and sperged about him having dementia or something, as far as I can remember I read about it here on the farms, likely in the random updates thread.
Chris being an utter fuckup is largely her own doing. She's getting exactly what she made inevitable through her own short-sighted stupidity and selfishness. She's also so obstinate that if she doesn't die in a hospital, she's not going to go to any kind of assisted living facility. She'd rather die at home eaten by bugs than do that, I'm pretty sure.
Going out the same way as her husband. Fitting, as she's want to die around her hoard and Chris.
One thing is for certain, just like the lumberjack, kiwis will show far more respect to ol' borbachu's passing than Chris will.
I don't remember the Bob thread but I bet the Barb one will be a lot bigger, even when nobody will be sadder about it in comparison. Also, given her presence in his life as opposed to Bob, there's also the added fact that Chris will be finally alone and that will leave a LOT of room for discussion.
Bobs death marked a dramatic drop in ween behavior. I feel like barbs will invigorate a lot of the more spiteful/“evil” twitter and discord zoomers into overdrive. A lot of people are going to double down to try to “break” Chris.
