What would you guys think about a Donald Trump board? -

This poll is just to see how much interest the people here would have for a DJT board. In the end, it will be up to Null wether the board will exist or not on here, regardless of the forum's opinon of it.

Yes, of course I understand that we have a precedent set around here that we don't talk about famous people, but I think that The US's new president has so much milk that it just wouldn't make sense not to have a board dedicated to him. I know that we have the Lugenpresse for real world events, but I think that DJT is eccentric enough to have his own board. I mean, in the past MONTH he has had three Lullzy chimpouts.

I like the guy myself, but I think that it is important to call out milk when its there. Considering the fact that he is still the same old eccentrist that we have come to know even after he is elected, I think that we should start discussing the creation of an apolitical forum to discuss him as a lolcow, because he really is one. His milk is going to flow even as president, and I think that it would be fun to talk about it here.

He also fits our criteria for being a lolcow:

Doesn't respond well to criticism

Behaves in unpredictable ways, and has fascinations with certain topics

Has a crew of asspats who will back him up regardless of what he does

Most other areas on the internet that talk about high profile politicians are either strictly policy, or policy mixed with talking about his character. I think that the Kiwifarms could pull off a forum that discusses his eccentricities without letting politics get in the way. Chris, for example, has made several political statements, but it isn't the politics that are discussed on his forum, its Chris's personality and all of the crazy things that he has done or said. I really think it would be cool to be able to have an apolitical discussion of DJT, focusing more on the funny/crazy things that he does or says rather than his policies.

They definitely deserve a thread in the community watch. My only thing with Trump is that we would have to either have dozens of threads or just have one be updated on a near daily basis, so I think a board for him would be nice.

Maybe it's just me, but I have found this to be oddly the most respectful forum I have ever been on. I have never really had a heated argument with someone on here, and even if people disagree with me they usually just type out a cohesive reason why they think I'm wrong.

Are you joking? Most threads there aren't about Trump, there's a bunch of threads about picks, and the President of the United States can't get a thread. It defeats the purpose of the forum. If you water down the definition that much the site stops having meaning.

At least to me the enjoyable thing about lolcows is they're exceptional people who may never have come to our attention without being showcased here. Trump on the other hand is unavoidable, in the news, social media, in-person interactions, it's pervasive and I imagine we all get our daily dose of salt without having to go out of our way for it. Most of the people doing the chimping out aren't even exceptional individuals because chimping out about Trump is the new mainstream.

The likes of Huffington Post basically have the Trump thread covered for the next 4-8 years.

Normally, I'm against creating topics for "politicians," but Trump is so exceptional that I would mind seeing a thread when he eventually resigns, gets impeached, or chimps out some more during the 2020 election. Plus, imo, his supporters are just as big of lolcows as the SJWs who think he's the next Hitler. Call me salty, but I really don't think the man has what it takes to be President.
