What's a goal which might actually be attainable for Chris? -

I don't think he'll ever find a sweetheart, and raising a daughter is out of the question as he can't even take care of himself. But I do think that getting a full time job is within his capability. Not one that uses his CADD degree mind you, minimum wage shit in McDonalds or Walmart or whatever. But I do think Chris could do it and it would really improve his life by giving him an opportunity to get out of his mother's house and interact with people socially.

I think getting a full time job would improve his life. It would give him a reason to wake up in the morning and it would force him to socialize.

Even a part time job would be something. Would definitely help improve his social skills, giving him more confidence and a better chance to meet people. He could still keep his and have more money for games and make up.

I'm actually not sure if it's plausible for Chris to get a part-time job. For one thing, Barb doesn't let him leave the house for anything other than McDonald's at this point. Secondly, the good peeps at McDonald's or Wal-Mart would never hire him anyway because of his shitty resume and all the stupid stuff he's done on the Internet.(Because they check that kind of stuff, you know?) In short, Chris probably couldn't even get a part-time job.

Fathering Chrystal. Somewhere between now and, say, twenty years he might knock up some 'tard chick and beget his God-promised daughter.
It requires less effort then a job, a make-over or a lifestyle change... it doesn't even have to be a relationship, could be a casual-sex arrangement with an impressionable slow-in-the-mind girl or a one-night stand with a not-so-careful "woman of low repute". Not saying he'd actually raise her, either, but this I think is doable.

There are a lot of things that Chris is capable of, that's one of the most frustrating things about Chris. Once you get over the initial shock factor of his retarded antics you realise he's actually not a complete invalid and is capable of much more than he achieves. It's just that he refuses to improve himself, once by choice but now he doesn't even have much of a chance to improve himself.

I think you nailed it though, buying PS4 (and rebuying all the inevitable re-released PS3 games etc) is the only thing he'll ever do in the foreseeable future that involves effort.
