I’ve been making too much steak lately, I need to diversify my meats with some chicken or possibly add fish back into the mix after leaving it out for years. But to be fair it’s mostly due to me testing out different cuts to see which ones I prefer, I’ve learned that I prefer leaner cuts with finer marbling over cuts like ribeye where you get large fat bands of fat that are too gummy for my tastes.

I’ll have to give it a try at some point, I am a fan of brisket. And I agree with your take on filet mignon. Part of me wants to use a rub or marinade and serve it with a bit of barbecue sauce to help with the flavor issue while the other part knows that using such things on that cut is considered blasphemy./ISPOILER]

Porridge is so odd. I never crave or really want it but I always end up wolfing that shit down once I finally have it.

Pasta with a meat sauce. Typically fusilli, and for some reason I find tricolore more appealing than plain. The sauce is lightly browned mince w/ garlic, salt, pepper, and tomato passata, and then glazed with a little butter.
It's all super easy to prepare and fun to experiment with. Using fish instead of mince almost transforms it entirely.

I make too many ham and cheese sandwiches. So simple and so filling. It’s a perfect meal for someone as such as myself. I love to pair my sandwiches with a cold can of coconut La Croix.

Can’t narrow it to one. But:
  • split pea soup
  • chicken matzah ball soup
  • scrambled eggs with caramelized onions, mushrooms and cheese
  • mac and cheese (ho-made)
  • chicken thighs and legs, cooked in a pressure cooker and eaten with various sauces and dips (ho-made BBQ, spicy aioli, honey mustard, etc.)
  • baked falafel (TJ’s mix is great, easy, and cheap) with sriracha mayo or tzatziki
  • nachos with salsa, cheese and yogurt (in lieu of sour cream)
I also over-rely on quick bites of cottage cheese as a meal but it’s so filling and fast.

A piece of bread toasted with a slice of cheddar cheese and Magic Garlic Salt, layered with black pepper sausage and topped with a nicely salted-peppered fried egg. Serve it with a mug of ice coffee and I can start the morning a happy bitch.

It’s the salt bomb that has kept me alive thus far, and will continue to keep me alive until I get sick of it and move onto a new bland comfort meal

It's just pasta with minced pork and cow---- Buuut ad in some tortilla pans and you can make tortillas. add tacos and you make tacos (just keep veggies in mind).
I usually eat in tortillas. It's delicious with rice too. It's called "Nistipata" because it's very cheap to make (around 0,30€ per serving) and "Nistis" eat it. A Nisti is Finnish for a drugaddict.

I buy these cauliflower pizza crusts and make pizza because we do meme keto, but they are actually not bad. I either make a regular cheese pizza or I put barbeque sauce, cheese, keilbasa, and red onions on it.

Probably bolognese or whatever you'd call a vaguely italian meat sauce that I chuck whatever wizened or nearly mushy veg from the fridge into.

Canned tomatoes, fresh basil, meat and balsamic are the only constants. May or may not have an actual soffrito depending on supplies. Mushrooms, aubergine, mild capsicums, whatever the fuck else I need to use up in a hurry to into it
