I know he probably considers Taco Bell legitimate Mexican food...
But has he ever had anything besides that (and cheap Chinese takeout)?
:pickle: don't count >.>

I honestly don't think he did besides those.

Hungry Man dinners and Q-sands is an entirely new culinary style. I shall call it hillbilly chic.

I'm pretty sure I remember something racist Chris said about blaming Korean food for giving Barb colitis. There must have been :briefs: all around that day.

Ohhh that's right they used to go to a Korean church...
I'm surprised he didn't pick up any of the language... But not really ._...
So he must have had authentic Korean food at one point at least :3

A lot of Korean food is vegetarian except for your complimentary bulgogi. He probably had the same reaction to :pickle: at all the vegetables... *yawn*

Yeah, they probably tried to give him Japchae. I faintly remember most communities had that in outdoor picnics. Or even kimbap, which is pretty much Korean sushi rolls. Again also seen regularly in picnics. Still, mostly vegetarian. With some fish cakes and beef somewhere... I never really liked those dishes, honestly. I've been too Americanized. (:_(

Barb got sick after they went to a chinese restaurant. They were blaming the chinese restaurant for her getting sick.

Bob served during the Korean War, didn't he? So I'm sure Chris has had Korean at some point. Could you imagine Chris eating Kimchee?

I used to go to a Korean Presbetyrian church when I was dating a Korean girl a few years ago. They would have lunch after service pretty religously, with members of the church bringing in all sorts of things from home. There was a lot of kimchi, kimbap, sometime bipim bap and bulgogi. I imagine the Chandlers were exposed to these foods during church socials.

Other than that, probably Chinese food from a local take-out or buffet place.

And Chris did have microwavable spaghetti that one time. That's technically Italian.

Maybe he went to a Mexican place sometime? There are a lot of those places run by Mexicans where I live.

I imagine his server would call Chris names in Spanish under his breath when he was serving him ]:(P

Yeah, he's been to El Agave, so he's had Mexican.

Does microwave pizza count as Italian? .... didn't think so.

He has undoubtedly eaten at least some Korean food at church and possibly on outings with Bob, I'm thinking he would have enjoyed the bulgogi, which is roughly the Korean version of good old Dixieland BBQ beef brisket. Otherwise Americanized Chinese, Italian and Mexican cuisine from places in Richmond, C-Ville and Ruckersville, possibly Cajun food.

I can't imagine Chris-chan touching Greek, Middle Eastern, Turkish, Ethiopian, Indian, Thai or other popular ethnic cuisines. God forbid he try sushi, sashimi, natto or other authentic Japanese mainstays.

I love eating ethnic foods. It's one of my favorite things to do when I'm out and I really wish that my little town had more options. Vietnamese and Thai are some of my favorites, but I also like authentic Mexican. I'm pretty spoiled because I married into a Filipino family and I get adobo, tilapia, and spring rolls pretty regularly.

Man, I would love to be a fly on the wall if Chris tried spicy Thai curry.

Or a durian. I really wonder how he would react to the smell. I guess that from living in filth he would be desensitized to the strong smell.
