Oh my god, webcrawler. I remember when I had a shitty AOL website and submitted it to the various search engines at the time (Because you had to do that back then, apparently).

Yahoo, google, altavista, they were all easy and fast. Webcrawler on the other hand took fucking forever. I think they just had a database scheme that didn't scale well, because it just got worse and worse.

I used metacrawler for a while, but I noticed all the worthwhile results were from google and at the time google had a nice lightweight page.

They updated the site a few days ago with their 2018 showcase of fans wearing Halloween costumes and, obviously, there was their annual Halloween toon at the end of October (although that page is just an embed of the video posted on Youtube).
