I like the tax collector quest in Morrowind.

The game never tells you where he is, and it encourages you to explore the swamps around Seyda neen til you find him. And you get rewarded double if you give his money back to the guy in the tutorial

what, not a fan of randomly switching from stealth to a flat out brawl with some chick's ex boyfriend in dwarf ruins? not a huge fan of NIGHTINGANGLES and the idea that a really good lockpick is the key to the ALTENATE DIMENSION OF THIEFYNESS???

I mean, does sanguine's quest count as a fetch quest? Running around trying to a goddamned goat from a giant if your speech sucks, dealing with a Hargraven and shit. Same with the Agent of dibella quest... Fetching a kidnapped girl.

I like the Skyrim thieves guild quests the most, they're easy and quick to do when you're already doing something else in a hold.
