There's this restaurant/bakery in Downtown Los Angeles that has some fucking amazing croissants that are so light and flaky and they each have a tiny kernel of foie gras that make it all buttery and amazing.
I'll eat pretty much anything that isn't seafood or friend chicken, but I particularly like Afghani food, and have recently developed quite a liking for the stuffed aubergine from a local turkish restaurant. I also like burritos.
My favourite meat/poultry is duck.
Baked French Onion Soup with bread and mozzarella, baked to a golden brown with dark, almost burnt parts. It's also a good general gauge to how good a restaurant is in general. If they can't do this right, they're shit, but done well, it's exquisite.
