In my experience, every town in America has some weirdo like Chris, if not several. I know that my hometown certainly did. The thing about Chris is that he acts SO fucking weird in public that you can't help but notice him. Most of the local weirdos in the US are known by the community, and their actions are kind of hand waved away as, "That's just him/her. they're mostly harmless, just don't talk to them."

So when they fuck up, everyone knows that they aren't quite right in the head and treats them accordingly. Chris, on the other hand, is normal enough that when he's not doing weird, creepy or inappropriate shit, you really wouldn't know that he has serious mental problems. So when he does act out in inappropriate ways, it's a bit more jarring to observers, who immediately are like, "Jesus, what the fuck is wrong with that guy?"

Anyway, that's my theory. Totally agree with you that Chris is a breed of his own who can't help but garner negative attention wherever he goes.

I agree with this, before he trooned out he looked pretty normal. Like most local weirdos look as nutty as they are. But like in the rollin and trollin video. You see he can look like your average guy from down there. The problem is once he opens his mouth or the dumb shit he does. Like walking around he town he doesnt seem to garner attention, but when he starts doing some dumb shit it seems out of nowhere.

If you had some crazy homeless person you would be able to tell "oh this guy is nuts stay away" but chris actually looked normal, like i can easily pull 5 guys that are friends on facebook that are of similar age and look as Chris, from virginia back then. The difference being that only Chris has autism.
