I think if you want to end a relationship, voice this to your partner and if they try to threaten you or themselves and you can't leave. If a relationship is dead and you're being held against your will, then there is no promise or vows left to uphold.

It's a difficult question. I don't think it's acceptable during a rough patch. If your significant other thinks that there's a chance to fix things, it's unfair to them to cheat. If your significant other has already cheated or has become an abusive asshole, I think it's fair to cheat if the opportunity arises. Personally, though, I'd take the high road and just end the relationship before looking for love. Even if it's marriage, getting a new partner while separated is perfectly acceptable.
Sorry to hear it. Don't fucking do it, though; maybe this rough patch will pass and then it will hang over you. Maybe it won't and she'll find out and use it to fuck you in divorce court. Either way just end it if you think it's going that way, don't pull dumb shit.

Never. A person of excellence and virtue always does their best to uphold their vows. If the relationship becomes intolerable then let them know you want to separate. Just going off and cheating to deal with a troubled relationship shows a deficiency of character in my opinion.

It's never moral to cheat, but there are some situations where it's understandable. If a mans wife is sexually frigid for years or a husband is a massive alcoholic or something like that I would understand and not really judge that much. Still just have some balls and end the relationship if your that miserable.

Grow a fucking spine and end it with a divorce rather than cheating. I wouldn't wish infidelity even to my worst enemy considering how much damage it does. Why in the fuck are you even contemplating cheating on your wife and talking about it on Kiwi Farms of all places? Work out your issues somehow even if you need couples therapy, separate temporarily before reuniting or just divorce. Cheating is quite literally one of the worst things you can do when a marriage isn't working out.

People say it's okay when your spouse is abusive and you need comfort and stuff like that, but I gotta ask, if your spouse is a complete lunatic who starts threatening or beating you or (for lady abusers) pulling out knives on the reg, how are they gonna react when they find out you're sleeping with someone else? Remember the poor guy who served divorce papers to his psycho wife and she responded by stabbing their kids to death? Or that psycho who shot his doctor ex-girlfriend after she broke up with him in Chicago?
Something tells me you do not trust your spouse enough to pull them aside for a talk if you're coming to the forums to ask a bunch of strangers "Yo, I'm thinking about getting pussy/dick on the side because I'm not getting any, m'kay?" and that might not be fully on the fault of the spouse in that case.

it's ok if and only if your partner cheated on you first. in that case they already destroyed all expectations of faithfulness and loyalty in the relationship and it's basically over for good anyway.
