Where does Chris go? -

Hey wait a minute, I have a quick question.

Chris seems to take a lot of pictures of himself outside. Very rarely do we get a shot inside 14 Branchland Court these days. Not even Chris's toy-laden bedroom has made any kind of appearance since like late 2010.

But going back to the topic, why does it seem Chris does indeed go out in public a lot? I thought Barb had him on a tight leash? Now, going to Walmart and doing other tasks for her, thats one thing, but it does seem a bit like Chris does spend some of his day-to-day life outdoors. But where is it he goes to do these ugly "selfies" of himself

Seriously, Chris manages to escape 14BC to go to Walmart, Goodwill, McDonald's, Sheetz(?)... And that's about it. He's banned from a lot of even those locations, at that.

If Barb didn't encourage/force Chris to stay at home more, he would likely go to game stores, toy stores, bars, or possibly movie theaters.

His latest escapade was in the good ol' Mal-Wart Region. His miserable selfies all look like they're taken in some sort of Walmart/Target-type store.

What I don't get is, why doesn't Chris replace his "McDonalds time" or what have you to visit all these establishments? McDonalds is apparently one of his own personal enjoyments, so why can't he just go to the bar for a shot of Kahlua?

Chris has significantly less freedom now than he did while Bob was around. Barb went into full-time hoard mode when Bob died and will hardly let Chris have any alone time in the house now, let alone the freedom to go outside when he wants.

Chris complained about not being able to go to Charlottsville as often due to the price of gas "being costly." I get the impression that the days of farting of to Best Buy to send emails to sweethearts from the demo computers are all but over.

That being said, Chris is known to be a patron of McDonald's, Sheetz, Wal-Mart and Riley's Diner in Ruckersville--although he may not be welcome at Wal-Mart and Riley's any more.

Marvin and I discuss his daily activities sometimes. We find it fascinating to speculate on just what he does, because the few things we can imagine seem so impossible for a human mind to accustom itself to.

Like, just yesterday I said to Marvin that it seems like all Fatty does is wake up in the afternoon, sit staring at a wall hating people and feeling sorry for himself for trivial hardships he endured over a decade ago, and then goes to bed around 6am. To say that about any other human being would necessarily be hyperbole - but with Chris, is it actually accurate? It seems like it very well could be.

There was a period around a few years back when I was unemployed and I would find myself just going through the motions. Like I would literally switch on the Gamecube or something, then switch it off again because there wasn't anything I wanted to play; or I would make myself a cuppa, even though I didn't actually want one. It actually takes a surprising amount of mental fortitude to spur yourself into some sort of meaningful action when you don't actually have any obligations.
But of course I'm used to having to do stuff with my life, as is everyone else here I imagine.

So when you say you find it fascinating to speculate on what he does, I see where you're coming from. I mean, how long ago was it he finally left PVCC? That entire time since then has been a meaningless mass of nothingness with nothing achieved or even attempted. The only stimulation he got was from the interactions with the trolls.

I doubt it hasn't occurred to you before, but you're one of the few people in Chris' entire existence whose even attempted some sort of meaningful interaction or dialogue with him, instead of just nodding until he shuts the fuck up. That's fucking scary man.

Not enough money for something = Snyder's fault
Feeling lonely or horny = Autism/Locals are snobs
Can't use usual methods to attempt to solve problem = Trolls ruined his image and good name

I think over time the excuses he gives himself seem flimsy even to him so he has to tack on a conspiracy or two to make it feel like it can't possibly be his fault and he has no chance.

About the only time he's ever openly admitted something was his fault without any prompting was the video where he informs the world about him erasing his ps3 hdd.
It's also one of my favorites because of the sheer bewilderment in his expression.

Well, given Chris's utter lack of therapy, I'd imagine his routine would be pretty well set in stone. He probably still stims, it would be interesting to find out how often and for how long. He probably takes a significant amount of time for fantasy daydreaming, adventures in cwcville with ponies and what-not. Vidya is probably a significant time waster. And then there's the Cwctard Triathlon - going on errands for mommy, sweetheart searching and waddling away at top Sonic speed from store managers and security guards. I'd guess, all in all, Chris-C­han has a pretty busy schedule.

I've read the Jackie emails again recently. I was really saddened when I got to the part in which Chris tells Jackie that he can't meet her because his parents don't allow him to go anywhere that is too far from home. I think that what Barb is doing to him is outright emotional abuse.
