Where The Scooter Fans At? - No really. You never heard of them?

I'm a huge fan within electronic dance music. Mostly trance, happy hardcore, hardstyle, and jumpstyle. Little bit of house music if I really want to. And of course, listening to mostly Scooter. Old school and some that are somewhat decent in the 2000s. Kinda wonder if you're really into those sort of music.

Scooter is goofy as hell and I love it. Me and my friends would quote shitty Scooter lyrics to each other all the time in the 2000s. Not even being ESL can excuse, "It's not a bird, it's not a plane / It must be Dave who's on the train"

However, musically some of the non-vocal stuff they did was actually really good:

I feel like Jay Frog was probably the actually talented guy in the group. He's had a pretty prolific solo career both during Scooter and after leaving.

I probably should edit my thread and put that song too. Also, their song Fire is pretty much how the song title explains. It's basically trance mixed with hard rock guitar solo altogether. 90s and mid 2000s have some decent music despite remixing them.

I personally think Axel Coon was a talented former member of Scooter earlier including his solo career. Ferris is alright, but he moved on and pursued a pop singer career and has depression. Usually, their new music is not really as great. I mean they really try to despite Rick Jordan leaving the group who was a veteran former member.

I do have to admit that some of the lyrics were very goofy at times despite him hyping it up with constant shouting.

Scooter was very popular in the former Soviet Union in the 1990s, especially Russia, and remains so today among those who were young in that decade.
The most popular tracks by them here were "How Much is the Fish?" and "Fire".

My personal favourites are, besides the two tracks above, "One (Always Hardcore)", "The Age of Love" and the slightly 80s-esque "We are the Greatest". I'm not a fan of H.P. Baxter's remixes of others' tracks, though.

Other than most of the scooter songs that has constant shouting, there are few ones that made him a decent singer and ones that are declared as peaceful instrumentals. Few examples. Siberia is one of the most underrated tracks and has some progressive element to it. While I do love rave music, I can still relax with some chillout tracks.

I'm actually really surprised there's a Scooter thread here. They're such a guilty pleasure band and I love the absolutely retarded confidence intertwined with the silly ripped off lyrics. HP Baxxter is a GigaChad.

Under the Radar Over the Top was my favorite album of theirs by far. Music for a Big Night Out was pretty good, too. The Big Mash Up was shit, it was just a cash-in on the dubstep fad. The Fifth Chapter was very frontloaded, it would have been a terrific EP if they cut it off after track 8, since the rest of the album is total filler. Ace was forgettable. I haven't listened to Scooter Forever because reasons.

Because most people reading this probably have never heard anything from Scooter over the last 10 years, here's a few of their best newer tracks:

Bumping this again because their newest single is fantastic. One of their best, even. I guess COVID really brought the best out of them.

Scooter's entire career is ripping off other artists whether its other producer's tracks or lengthy pop samples in their choruses, but I'll always appreciate them stealing from dutch gabber guys stealing from Pearl Jam.

How Much is The Fish is the first song I heard by Scooter. I keep laughing at the misheard lyrics when he says "transforming the tunes" it sounds like "transforming the Jews"
