You have been (hypothetically) assigned the task to either

A.) get Chris a job (a real paying job, no president of CWC comics bullshit)

Or

B.) get Chris a girlfriend (a real one, not a troll or a hooker)

Which one do you think you would be able to help Chris accomplish, and why? Failure is not an option (although in this case it would probably be inevitable)

A job would be the easiest and most realistic thing to get him to do.
A lot of people said he can work in a recycling plant taking lids off containers and sorting things and someone suggested a beta testor for vidya and then someone else said that job sucked because you need to do stuff over and over to document glitches and what causes them but I think with his autism he might enjoy that.

Replace "Getting Chris a Job" to "Keeping a job for a long period".
Or even "get a job he's willing to do that won't cause STRESS."

You know, I actually wonder how easy it would be for him to keep a job if it was something he himself didn't have to apply for. As in, someone giving him a job out of pity or because they need cheap labor. It seems part of the reason he won't get a job is the stress-inducing application process and his shit resume. He might actually like going to work if it was somewhere out of public view (where he'd be a walking sideshow attraction), performed simple mindless tasks, and got to interact with coworkers (who would undoubtedly become JERKS at some point).

He's had a job before. He's never had a girlfriend.

The closest things to a girlfriend he's ever had were Megan and Wallflower. And look how much he screwed those up. It's almost akin to how he wouldn't do his work at Wendy's or scaring children with his Donald Duck impression at Wendy's.

A job would be much easier, because people don't have to personally like you to work with you. If you could convince Chris to show up every day and keep his mouth shut, he could work some jobs. To keep a girlfriend he'd have to actually convince a girl that she is happier with him in his life than without.

Chris will never have a girlfriend/sweetheart in his lifetime. Not unless she is profoundly retarded. Chris could easily get a menial job.

I'm torn, both situations present different types of problems for different reasons. Chris has had a job before, its not impossible for him to find a job in something menial like a fast food restaurant chain, the problem for him its keeping it. His atrocious social skills together with his eternal self-entitlement issues would make it impossible for him to work with other people, let alone interacting with customers.

Getting a girlfriend? Well, that's a whole other sack of potatoes. If we go by his standards of women he'll consider worthy to date, what rich super model would be interested in dating someone like Chris? However we all know how fast he drops his ridiculously high standards when the female tolerates him at the most basic level, so the problem its not so much about him obsessing over whatever fugly girl he comes across, its about said girl liking him.
That's the real issue, what could Chris possibly offer in a relationship? Shit stained panties and boring monologues about Sonichu?

So to conclude, my pick for easier task would be him getting a job, he doesn't appear to be as retarded as some people say he is, so maybe he could at least find a job were he would be constantly monitored by a court mandated guardian or something.

A job would be easier, hands down. He probably couldn't get a good job, but he could still get one. Somehow. He'd get fired in a week, of course.

A person can have a job multiple times in their lives but no girlfriend for their whole lives, this is a normal person who might have a few oddities. Chris? He could only manage a job. A low demand one that had little physical and or mental strain on it. Perhaps factory work on an assembly line (it'd have to be slow) or hand washing cars , maybe pouring food into dog bowls for a shelter somewhere, cleaning dishes (only that though, I don't think he'd be of any asset as a kitchen assistant) A step up from that like waiter service or retail work, ringing up customers and the like would be too much for him, he'd complain, get fired and yada yada.
Then again are we sure he wouldn't complain about having to stand up all day for his job anyway?

Probably getting a job, if Chris was clever enough, he could easily make a lot of money selling Sonichu drawings and merchandise.

That is, if he didn't make the prices insanely high or low and actually reasonable.

I'd say it'd be much easier (well, in comparison a least) to get him a job doing something basic and repetitive. Now, getting him to keep that job, now there's something else entirely.

I'm going to go with getting a girlfriend, because even I know how high normal people's standards tend to be in the relationship department. If I can't get a boyfriend with a respectable education and sense of humor, why on earth would Chris be able to get a girlfriend while DIRTYING his CRAPPED BRIEFS while making comics that look like he used the paper to clean himself up? I'm virtually certain he'll end up working someday out of necessity, but I'm equally as certain that he'll never, ever find a sweetheart to love him, barring significant changes in his life.
