while it is ironic, I don't think if the place I read was legitimate, but if they were funding them, which would be a good tactic but hard to keep a secret if there ARE any actual Nazis, the real Nazis would probably expose them and leave.
The problem is that modern NEO-Nazis are basically the equivalent of a black street gang, and until they get a leader or hard economic times drive people to create a new NatSoc party the face of neonazism will probably never change.
If they were legitimate and semi-powerful Nazis with a political agenda the US government would probably arrest them all, and nobody would object because 'muh terrorism.

I just don't get the whole racial pride thing. For me, pride is something you feel after you've accomplished something worthwhile, like getting on the honor roll in school, finishing a difficult project at home, completing a fitness goal, something that YOU did. No one decides on the color of their skin so for me, race/skin color is not something to be proud (or ashamed) of. It's just one of these things that just... is. I judge people on their actions, not their race.
I find the whole White Pride/Nationalism thing to be total bullshit because the people who are all gaga for that idea are generally ignorant, narrow-minded douchebags, and THAT in itself is nothing to be proud of.

You know what I also notice with white supremacists, and this is also true of Louis Farakhan and the Nation of Islam, is real dishonesty. I have more respect for Fred Phelps and Westboro, for at least being honest, because when they are being interviewed they never try to hide their views, or clean anything up. But the Neo Nazi will say the really vicious things in their newsletters and forums, but when they get interviewed for Tv, they will smile and put on an act, and say they are just "separatists", they don't HATE anyone, no of course not, David Duke would totally be a fair politician to everyone. Like in that Vice documentary with the "White Student Union" their leader has said really offensive things in print (or internet), but when the cameras are on, he's just trying to have "true equality", and he puts on an act like he has these intentions that are totally pure. They are real actors, or really politicians.
