What kind of things did the White Student Union put up?

Well in the Vice Doc the White Student Union, tries to pass themselves off as just concerned citizens who want the campus to be safe, and the leader acts like he is this nice guy, who will even shake hands with the black student leaders. But when you actually go and look at his quotes and people he has endorsed and been endorsed by, you see he is fucking horrible, saying that certain people need to be sent to re education camps, and saying shit that he wouldn't have said on the doc, especially in front of minorities. White Nationalists say horrid shit, and commit violent acts, but when the cameras are rolling they pack up their klanhoods, and put on their politician clothes, and pretend they are just concerned citizens, who care about the white community, and just want everyone to be happy.

I'm not a white nationalist or a nazi or anything like that, but after years of browsing the internet I've become familiar with them (as well as with other "lolcow groups" like wizards and loveshies and stuff) and I just wanted to clear up some misconceptions. First, most white nationalists aren't neo nazis, since that includes the economic part of National Socialism, which I don't think many white nationalists care about. In fact I'd say that 99% of those who call themselves nazis or neo nazis are either retarded or doing it for attention/shock factor. Also, most of the "video games" posted in the thread are, like neo nazism, made just for the shock factor of it, nobody expects someone to play that game and become automatically a nazi, that's just silly. I mean just look at that Tila Tequila woman (not sure if she's a singer or actress or what). She's obviously just doing it for attention.


Second, yes the Jews conspiracy theories are retarded. Everyone knows that. They do make some valid points though. Affirmative action for example, everyone knows that's a crock of shit. I don't think many white nationalists actually think that all niggos should be lynched or whatever, even if their leaders/Stormfront admins do, I'm sure most are just normal people who are fed up with this overly politically correct crap. As I said I'm no white nationalist but I can understand why some would want to be part of that group. I mean come on, they probably have dozens of thousands of members in that forum, they can't all be that crazy, if thousands of people decide to join a group, one that goes against the mainstream (so it's not like you're just recruited by a random guy on the street, or you're taught about this stuff by some wacky teacher in college/high school -- as opposed to other groups like SJWs), then evidently there are some valid issues being raised. Let's be realistic here.


Now, not about white nationalism, but still somewhat related: Of course you can be proud about something you haven't accomplished. Say you have a sister, and she just happened to have studied really hard and got into medical school (or some other random accomplishment) then I'm sure you'd be proud of her. And you'd be proud of being her brother/sister. Well here it's the same thing, it's not like they're taking their race's accomplishments as their own, they just feel proud of being part of a group that includes people that have accomplished many great things.


And well last but not least, not related to white nationalism but is it me or has the definition of lolcow expanded quite a bit? Last time I checked it was just a weird person who caused a funny reaction after being interacted with. Sure white nationalists/westboro baptist church/PETA/whatever are weird/racist/funny/hateful/etc, but so are plenty of other groups. Personally I'd rather see more of people in this subforum like that Moleman guy, or the dude who pretended he was a marine, or stuff like that. Now that's funny because you can actually see them react to what is being said about them and to trolls who interact with them. These groups and corporations will never give a damn about some random trolls online.



And well that's about it, as you can tell I'm bored out of my mind to write this wall of text about this issue, but I just feel that these forums stopped being about lolcows and more about "lol guys check out this group I don't like, let's make fun of them!". Some groups legitimately are lolcows (like Bronies) but most just don't have that "magic" that lolcows share. Especially when they're corporations like PETA... I mean come on... how is that a lolcow. I came into this thread expecting some funny old lunatic rambling about DA JOOS and tinfoil hats and stuff and... well, nothing, just a "these people are racist!" that's not a lolcow...

I'm Sorry but I don't think you know anything about Neo Nazis. Serious Neo Nazis aren't just doing it for fun or as a joke, they honestly believe what they are saying. Have you ever heard of the Turner Diaries, or Hunter? that is the shit they fantasize about, they want a White nationalist version of Shariah. Death penalty for gays, and people who race mix, especially.

Rad does make some good points about nazis being in it for shock effect and racist dicks not fitting the criteria of lolcows. The rest I mostly disagree with, but I'm sure most people here can rebut it with pretty much the same things I would say.

As for wanting shock appeal, I don't know what you'd call a "serious neo-nazi", but I grew up around neo-nazi skinheads, and I came very close to becoming one myself, not because of the politics (which they all but ignored themselves), but because the lifestyle just seemed awesome to an angsty teenager. I'm thankful now I never got too deep with them because it's a violent and shitty subculture, but that doesn't mean I forget that a lot of those guys were really good friends of mine, so I can't dehumanise them the way most people can. I can confirm that 99% of the neo-nazi stuff is mindless shock-value bullshit with no deeper political meaning ; a way for angry disenfranchised people to piss everyone off even more. The people I knew, they just liked to fight, and drink, and fuck, and disassociate themselves from mainstream society in any way they could. Wearing some nazi windowdressing just meant that they got way more excuses to start fights, and it showed what angry antisocial people they were. It certainly never stopped them from happily drinking and socialising with black people, and seeing nothing whatsoever wrong with that.

Ah see I've never met any, but I've browsed Stormfront and assume these people mean what they are saying. When one recommends the turner diaries, and talks about how great Tom Metzger is, I assume that person is serious in what they believe. I would not feel comfortable, as a "faggot, fairy, racial mixed breed," myself, drinking with a Nazi Skinhead but can you blame me? Respect is something that should be earned, and Neo Nazis will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever, earn my respect, and if they don't like it, they can go cry, I don't care. If you discriminate, you have NO RIGHT to feel bad if people don't like you in return. Ok there is one case where a Neo Nazi/nationalist would get my respect, and that's when one leaves the movement, and learns to not be racist, then I would applaud and be happy for that person, and gladly drink with him.

I have to respectfully disagree with this. it's one thing to be proud of the accomplishment of someone you know, because you watched them work for it, you (presumably) offered them support and encouragement, and so on. You know these people on a personal level, and it's easy to share their pride. But racial pride to me is still just BS. Lots of white people accomplished cool stuff, but I'm not going to really feel the same pride for them as I would someone I know because I didn't know them personally and wasn't involved in their goals. I also notice lots of white pride people can tend to ignore the bad things that the white race has done (the Spanish Inquisition, the Holocaust, and so on) If these people are going to puff out their chest about the accomplishments of their race and people they don't know or have never met, then they need to feel shame too, for all the evil shit of people they haven't met, either.

This is in response to your whole post, so pardon the quote-snip. I agree with what you're saying, and certainly nobody can be faulted for prejudging people who take such pains to present themselves in a way that consciously and deliberately invites prejudice. The stormfront guys almost certainly mean what they're saying, but I can't imagine any of the old skins I knew would get along with stormfront people or would even know anything about Turner Diaries or Protocols or Jewish World Conspiracies ; nor can I imagine most stormfronters actually walk around in public covered in swastikas and getting into fights. All I'm saying is that these people who are broadly painted as 'neo nazis' are far less similar and unified than one would expect ; they have very different attitudes and reasonings behind why they take on such a hated image. Some of them, I'm sure, fit into your preconceptions perfectly. But some of them are far less hateful than they'd have the world believe. Maybe it's their way of putting up a steel-plate over their flattened heart, or maybe it's seeking victimhood in their own special ultraviolent way. Who can say?

Where I'm from the truly hateful racists would never call themselves 'nazis' or 'white nationalists', they're the Patriotic Youth League. To hear it from them, they don't hate other cultures, they just love Australia. When their members get caught in nazi memobilia, or beating up little ethnic kids, or murdering visiting anti-apartheid activists, they're real quick to claim that's just "rogue members who do not represent our organisation as a whole". They seem far more like the stormfront types than the guys I knew, who actually and literally claimed to be nazis but couldn't be bothered shouting racial slurs if they thought nobody around would fight them over it.

in my Area, one of my friend's ex girlfriend got kicked out of a neo nazi group when they realized she wasn't full aryan.(half hispanic with blonde hair)
when I talked to her, about it, it showed that neither her or the group had no knowledge of nationalism and just parroted "race war gas teh kikes heil hitler".
Neo nazis just claim to follow Hitler because they want to express hate, but don't know why they hate things and can't back it up. They don't know the basis of their philosophy and just parrot the caricature of it, they make objectivists look like rational people.
