White Noise (2020) - A slick new documentary that shows just how evil and racist whites are by focusing on a few clickbait grifters

The Atlantic's first feature documentary is the definitive inside story of the movement that has come to be known as the alt-right. With unprecedented access, White Noise tracks the rise of far-right nationalism by focusing on the lives of three of its main proponents: Mike Cernovich, a conspiracy theorist and sex blogger turned media entrepreneur; Lauren Southern, an anti-feminist, anti-immigration YouTube star; and Richard Spencer, a white-power ideologue. Directed and shot by Daniel Lombroso in his directorial debut, this film takes the viewer into the terrifying heart of the movement -- explosive protests, riotous parties, and the rooms where populist and racist ideologies are refined, weaponized, and injected into the mainstream. Just as the alt-right comes to prominence, infighting tears the movement apart. Spencer and Cernovich clash over the role of white nationalism in conservative politics. Southern struggles to reconcile her leadership role with the sexism and misogyny of her peers. Lawsuits mount and internecine fights erupt, but even as the alt-right fractures, its once-marginalized ideas find a foothold in mainstream discourse; in Republican politics; in the establishment right-wing press, especially Fox News -- and on the world's biggest social-media platforms. As white-nationalist violence surges in America and across the world, White Noise represents an urgent warning about the power of extremism, and where it's going next.

My prediction: The left will praise this "documentary" as revolutionary and educational; guilty whites, yes there are indeed white people who have white guilt, will point to it and cry how unalike they are to the racists white people in the film for brownie points only to be told off for being white; which they will explain is just because how racists white people have been to poor people of color.

LMAO they literally used the Aokay sign for their cover art. :story: This retarded 4/pol/ troll op has literally reached the point at which (((they're))) dropping millions of shekels on it in order to gaslight people into thinking it's a real thing just so (((they))) aren't embarrassed by it.

To any centrists lurking here. Just take a look at this shit. A gesture which was just a common thing when you were most likely a child can now put you on a hit list of the powerful in the west because your overlords got upset after random faggots on the internet made it into something that opposed them. Maybe it's time to stop accepting the status quo of stupidity and grow up.

So they admit that the alt-right is a nothingburger boogeyman.

Was Mr. Tarrant's rampage a nothingburger?

America may sometimes have some shortages, but I don't think angry, armed lunatics from every side of the political spectrum are one of those. I have a feeling one should avoid crowds when the election is happening. Or not. Fuck it. Being free to live and die how you want is part of America. Fuck yes.

Perspective: the Charlottesville riot lasted about an hour (and wouldn't have happened at all if the police had done their jobs,) did basically no damage and had 1 fatality. This antifa/BLM horseshit has gone on for more than three months, claimed about 35 lives (may be more by now) and caused hundreds of millions of dollars in property damage. Yet, somehow, C'ville is more important to the media for what ought to be really obvious partisan reasons.

The both-sides, above-it-all enlightened centrism bit works very poorly under these conditions.

I hate that they never ask the question why this has been happening, why there has been such a backlash to multiculturalism.

Not too long ago white supremacy was just about the most fringe thing possible in American society, the vats majority of white people had accepted as a diverse place where everyone is equal under the eyes of the law and had just moved on with their lives, so what changed?

The fact that the left never looks in the mirror and asks themselves the question if they're doing something wrong that is fueling the backlash is nauseating, the concept of a diverse America is only being hurt by the lack of self reflection from the left.

The okay sign is for gay boys who suggestively want their buttholes tickled by the Catalina boy band. The true alpha males do a thumbs up sign with a swooping motion, suggesting with their expression "up yours".

That indicates the level of scrupulosity the documentary will exhibit. The Atlantic is like a TDS Weekly World News. That they chose to use the silly okay sign in the poster also indicates how much of a total smear job this will be.

this film takes the viewer into the terrifying heart of the movement
None of those featured, nor anything they've been involved in, can be considered terrifying -- certainly nowhere near as frightening as an average night in Antifa-occupied Portland.

Daniel Lombroso is a freelance director and journalist. For five years, he was a staff producer at The Atlantic, where he directed award-winning projects exploring Russian espionage, the Israeli settlement movement, far-right Christian media, and more.

Kids all over are punished for using that gesture at school, some even getting kicked out. That common gesture, that has been A-OKAY for who knows how long, has now been turned into a way to punish and cow white kids, all thanks to the spiteful shithead press. There is no floor to how low the media will sink.

And if I tried to make a documentary called Black Noise, following "black" white people like Talcum X and Rachel Dolezal, as well as all the grifting going on by BLM, I would get attacked as a racist.
Being an NYC jew, Lombroso has no such fears. It's good to be king.
