We have had issues in the past of sudden large numbers of people entering into the Discord via the chat link, and then being attacked from the inside (spam and other shit), and so we tend to take a lot more of a cautious attitude. As it was UK Mod time and I was the only one around when it was pointed out to me, I took the decision to ban, and they we would all discuss it afterwards in our staff channel. We did, and it was agreed that while a bit hasty, was probably the right thing to do considering the content and attitudes of a lot of people in here.

Let me get this one straight now. We know very little, or knew (as I have read through a lot of the stuff you’ve posted here after posting earlier), what they had been doing. I had heard of other drama and knew of her as an SJW cuck. What Marl has done is completely wrong, and we disagree 100% with it. If people want to look at furry porn of whatever, that’s fine in our eyes, we’re just as ‘depraved’ for that shit. Sure. But if you want to try and fuck underage kids, or barely legal “kids”, or have them fucked by animals, then any of that, and other stuff is completely out of order. I, as one of the spokesperson’s for VeeBooru, will wholeheartedly condemn PK, Eevee and Marl for what they have done. None of us condone their actions or what they have done.

I read through the logs on the front page, and as far as I’m concerned the sooner a truck hits these fuckers the better.

From what I know, Purplekecleon has caused drama for close friends of mine in the best, and also went from being what seemed a talented and normal individual, to a talented, disgustingly depraved individual. Sex sells, and for furfags, extreme sex sells. Great, good for them. We want nothing to do with any of that shit, we’re happy with what we have in our own community.

We don’t want our community to be heavily dragged through the mud, just because someone made a bad connection.

The reason for the name VeeBooru is merely for it to be an interim name, as we are all fans of the Pokemon, Eevee, and all like one of the Eeveelutions more than the others. The only other reason was that Eevee is a very highly representative character of what ‘Kemono’ is in Japan. We are intending to change the name eventually, but didn’t feel it would be any issues and certainly weren’t aware of this stuff when we made the decision back in 2013/2014 or so.

As far as we, the staff from VB are concerned, you can say and do what you like with the people mentioned in this thread. They are part of the cancerous and SJW part of the furry fandom that act like they’re good and sweet and kind, and are wolves in sheep’s clothing because they are the most depraved and sick of them all because they use their interests in furry porn as a way to sate desires for real-life shit. As opposed to most that look at it for the sake of enjoying the porn/art/whatever.

If you want to ask anything, feel free. I’ll be keeping an eye on this thread and also reading the stuff from right at the start, but I imagine it will take a while, so if someone can help me get a tl;dr version or links to the most important pages, or even a timeline of events, that would be really helpful. I’ve been a part of this community for a long time so I guess I’m being pragmatic. I already said it was I who dished out the bans, and I was doing it before I’d tracked it down to here, because, as I said before, we’ve been through something similar before with someone attsacking us. Now we know that it isn’t, there’s less reason to worry.

However, our Discord isn’t for people to just come into, collect logs and then FO. If I or anyone from the site had anything to hide I wouldn’t be posting here. Like seriously. You’re trying to make something out of nothing, like someone else was doing earlier.

To put it as someone else said in the thread, we’re trying to protect our own members. If you want to talk about it, then read what I say and digest it before adding to it. No “leads” where lost, because when someone searched the Discord, they already said there were no reference to PK anyway.

You’re looking for something because you just want something to talk about maybe? Maybe you are trying to make something out of nothing just for the sake of it? If you are looking for PK drama go look elsewhere. But in the mean time, if you join our Discord, you can quite happily sit around I guess. Why the fuck not. If that keeps you guys happy then sure. Leave some sleeper there who can check it once a week, but at least have the decency to not just attach shit to us just because “it’s a furry porn site with one or two references to PK” and “they blocked a bunch of us”. Also, PK’s recent art and styles isn’t something that we would have on our site. Hands down not our bag, so that’s a major reason to not have PK around.

We have removed the user for PK. They joined back in the WildCritters days, and now the site is under new owners. The user is still there, so you can see all the user activity.
